Taitung Fukui Japanese Restaurant — Restaurant in Taitung City

The worst experience I had was when I placed an order. The waiter repeatedly suggested in an impolite way that I should place my entire order at once, or if I wanted to order something later, I would have to quene up for a long time. However, since it was my first visit to this restaurant and I didn't want to waste food, thus, I didn't follow his suggestion.

Later, after one dish was delivered, I decided to order one more dish. The same waiter repeated his "suggestion" again and again. So, I asked him, "Shouldn't I order it?" His communication skills and flexibility were so poor, and he couldn't respond properly.

Well, this restaurant is for locals, and the price isn't...

The restaurant seems popular because a lot of people go there and it was full when we went there for lunch, good thing we made a call for reservation. The food was delicious, however, having said that it was full, it felt crowded. I took off one star because the tables are too near and the customers are seating back-to-back. Moreover, the staff were all walking and moving in a rush which made us feel like we should eat in a rush, too. But OVERALL, it was worth a try. Better than the other Japanese...

Extremely fast and friendly service. Tea is good. The seafood salad, sashimi, steamed egg, and nigiri were all very good. The seafood udon and grilled fish were good. Beef skewer, chicken skewer, and tempura were a bit disappointing. Reservations needed. English menu available but the translation is a bit off. Three of us paid $670 each for the food...
