今天來因酋長做礼拜早上未開業直到中午才來，說明因女兒生產已一個月未營業了，但仍賣了一壺咖啡給我们，水洗加二次發酵(密处理)的咖啡，以虹吸方式煮出，味道有点像黃金曼特寧，一問果然是日本种的咖啡樹，好喝且放冷後味道更醇厚！台版咖啡豆有这种功力不簡單呀！！

騎腳踏車上來大武山之門，到這很溫馨的小咖啡廳歇腳，根據老闆娘的描述，是採用當地生長在5-600米的咖啡豆自己烘培。是虹吸式手工咖啡，屬於中中烘培香味不錯。還有販賣簡餐飲料喝石板烤肉。如果不在這裡消費付10塊錢可以使用洗手間，這裡非週末假日來的人不多。

先前開車及騎鐵馬各上來一次，皆是由朋友帶路。這回開車上來，發現怎麼個路況、景物皆非?!錯愕不已上網查才知道往北大武登山口共有3條路線，前兩次我是從第1線上來，這次是由第2線上來的....真難得糊塗車開到這裡，前面有已閒置的鐵馬驛站，想上個公廁，結果竟上鎖，"酋長咖啡"只有一位女性原住民(不知道她是否老闆娘)，她說要上山來先打電話給鄉公所他們才會開放公廁，不會很瞎嗎?本來以為多少有點吃的，她說今天只有咖啡沒消費，只付了3人上...
