青花驕麻辣鍋桃園同德店 — Restaurant in Taoyuan City

EDIT (02/25): This is a more comprehensive review for my second time dining at this restaurant.

We got the 青花椒麻辣鍋+青麻椒肥牛鍋. The 麻辣鍋 was really good and fragrant, but it could've been spicier. The 肥牛鍋 was pretty interesting since it wasn't very spicy, but quite numbing. Probably wouldn't get these two broths at the same time next time, though.

As for the ingredients, these are the standouts: 牛三拼盛宴, 青花驕特色綜合丸 (the wasabi meatballs were surprisingly good), 絲滑豆捲, and 蛋餃. The 秘製酸梅汁 was also really good, as it tasted like plum juice mixed with wintermelon tea. Overall, this is one of the better spicy hot pot restaurants in this area.

The atmosphere was also pretty good. I love the elegant decor, as well as the beautiful tableware.

Unfortunately, the service was a bit of a let-down this time. After we got seated, they forgot to take our order for what kind of broth we want. We had to wait over 20 minutes since we've seated to have our hot pot. We also had to wait a while for take-out, too. They did try to make it up to us by giving us complimentary 滑嫩去骨雞腿肉, though.

Overall, I think I'll rate this time as: Food 5/5, Service 4/5,...

真的不錯,第一次吃青花椒今天生日睡起來隨意閒晃到這邊用餐,兩人吃下來2666元,都是天然食材很椒麻香,如果喜歡椒麻的朋友這裡選擇很多,店內氛圍感非常好,青花椒香氣十足當下立馬推薦給親友來此用餐。

豬肉很腥,我平常只吃黑豬,因為白豬很臭除非吃專門的香草豬或是台南善化豬不然豬都會有一種腥臭味,但是這種店不應該用有腥味的白豬,吃了很倒胃口(採購問題)。

反應過後店家立馬替我更換板腱牛,板腱牛吃起來肉質硬(瘦肉多)難吞嚥也有可能我煮太久,雖然有另外點了一大盤牛肉但是個人覺得牛肉不太好吃,也吃不完所以後來剩下很多全部打包回家以免浪費,餐點裡面有麵條,麵條一下去我的酸白菜鍋就毀了整鍋變得稠稠的(麵我沒吃我拿回家煮整鍋酸白菜就毀了)...
