Chiu Chiu Thai Cafe 泰式料理｜泰式甜品 — Restaurant in Taoyuan City

It’s not a perfect 5 star , they are just getting going with their business having only been open a week or so. The first time we tried the green curry it was too spicy , 2nd time we tried the yellow curry but we ordered from the a la carte menu and the portion was very meager (only 4 prawns) we mentioned this but the owner was at first in agreement that it was a mistake and later changed their mind to say they still discuss the portion sizes. It’s a very simple set up , you need to collect your own cutlery and order on your phone by scanning the QR code … today there was no coconut ice cream either (ran out) or pad Thai noodles. I am sure things will improve as they find their rhythm but early days everyone is excited to try so the experience is a little variable . Everyone who visits is incentivized to give a 5 star review (wink wink) for something extra...

Chiu Chiu Thai Cafe 泰式料理初訪

這次臨時起意，第一次跑來 Chiu Chiu Thai Cafe。挑了平日週二晚間七點左右進店，因為店家只營業到八點，本來還以為會被拒絕，結果鼓起勇氣問了一下店員，沒想到還是很熱情地讓我們入座用餐，超幸運！

👉 店內規定每人低消 $230，我們兩人點了： • 打拋豬肉飯 • 冬央功海鮮河粉 • 金錢蝦餅（小份 2 顆）

總共 $535，剛好可以小小滿足。

🍳 打拋豬肉飯

這道真的讓我驚艷！調味很到位，香料香氣明顯卻不會過頭，最加分的是——他們用的貌似是真的「打拋葉」，而不是常見的九層塔，這點就先給一個大拇指 👍。 今天點的是小辣，結果吃起來大概只有一般餐廳的「微辣」程度，下次一定要挑戰泰國辣（大辣），才會更過癮🤣。

🍤 金錢蝦餅

跟我印象中的金錢蝦餅完全不同！不是那種彈牙Q彈的口感，而是 鮮嫩多汁、咬下去整個蝦味爆炸，非常驚喜。雖然份量只有兩顆，但質感滿分。

🍲 冬央功海鮮河粉

這碗集合了酸、辣、鮮的靈魂滋味，湯頭喝起來就是泰式靈魂！裡面的蝦仁還貼心去殼，花枝鮮甜又彈牙，吃起來很舒服。搭配河粉，比一般湯麵更有咬勁。
