The sausage is excellent. Beer is also awesome, a must order with main course. The beer is smooth, also can taste the rye. The fries are tasty even it became cold. I really love this family-style restaurant. The chef is German and a professional by trade, which shows in how delicious the food is. My favorite part about the restaurant is that it’s open-air. Even though there are no doors or air conditioning, it’s very cool and enjoyable to dine with the sounds of nature around you. The dishes are all fantastic. Having decided to eat here we ordered a few dishes including the ribs and pork knuckle. The soup was tasty but to be honest everything was a little lacking for us. Mostly though we find being instructed that the food was delicious forcefully by the front of house lady and not being left alone to try and enjoy our meal was the most off putting thing for us.
