Slow and inconsistent service... We were there on Friday and Saturday a week ago. It's not even busy on Friday, but on our third round order of 2 Coronas, they already ran out of cold ones and didn't say anything until I went to the bar to ask after a long wait. They said the Corona is warm and takes time to cool down. After 15 minutes we got one. I had to go to the bar again to ask for the missing one and check our order with the bar staff again and again... Next day, unfortunately we returned to the bar for live band and train. We ordered food, some cocktails and pineapple juice. Everything was served except the pineapple juice. I had to go to the bar to ask again and they said the pineapple juice is FROZEN!? Yeah again it takes time to defrost the juice... I wish you could tell me cold Corona and pineapple juice were not available when I ordered them. Eventually we got the thing, just I had to keep chasing it. We went to the bar to chill. I didn't wanna run around to chase our missing orders. Apparently staff don't know what they are doing... My friend went to the bar today and ordered a pizza. He waited for an hour and got nothing. During the hour he checked with the bar staff 3 times. They always said the pizza will come in 10 minutes. Eventually he had to go catch the last train and asked for a refund. Staff still can't tell him when the food can be served. Turned out they missed the order again! Such an unpleasant...
Read more18:25 左右點了披薩(和薯條/飲料) 19:20 左右還是沒有拿到披薩,跟一位男服務生告知此事,他說披薩被送到了別的地方。 5-10分鐘後,我們拿到披薩了,但披薩皮真的很硬,我們甚至沒有吃完,覺得整晚的好心情有點被破壞了,所以我們告訴一位女服務生,想找當班經理抱怨這種情況......她說經理現在很忙,如果我們不急的話,她會告知經理此事,經理待會會來找我們。 30分鐘後,經理仍然沒有來,我又跟同一個女服務生提此事,她也只是說經理很忙。再過十分鐘後我直接去了櫃檯找經理。 我解釋了過去兩小時發生什麼事,整個很浪費我們時間,而且原本好心情完全被毀掉。我問了是否有 service recovery。 她道歉後說:「那你想要什麼?」我回答說「我不知道你們餐廳通常會怎樣處理?全額退費?半額退費?或?」 後來她去找老闆G談此事,回來後說「我們不能退錢給你,我們有大約 20 名員工要養,但我們可以給你一瓶啤酒」當時我只是想確認我聽到的,所以我回答「所以沒有退款,service recovery就一瓶啤酒?」 她知道我們待會要搭火車,態度整個突然變得很不友善,說:「不好意思,老闆 G 說我可以給你一杯啤酒,但我不想給了,你現在就可以走了,去趕火車。」 整個過程我很平靜跟該經理講這些事,所以我非常訝異她用這樣態度處理,她不停重複現在是假期所以他們很忙。 那客人理所當然要接受店家這種態度嗎? 當有抱怨產生,客人等了這麼久,今天甚至還發生了兩次(一次等披薩一小時,另一次超過半小時等經理過來),店家不自發性地先做些什麼,直到客人來找你,最後還給這麼不友善的態度跟講這麼過分的話?對我們來說完全是一個非常浪費錢浪費時間的經驗

We ordered a pizza (and fries/drinks) around 18:25 and still didn’t get the pizza around 19:20, we told one waiter about it and he said the pizza was delivered to a wrong place. After 5-10 minutes we got the pizza, pizza crust was quite hard so we didn’t even finish it. We felt our good mood of the whole night was kind of ruined so we told one waitress we wanted to complain the manager about the situation….she said the manager was busy at the moment and if we were not in a hurry, the manager would come to us later. After 30 minutes the manager still didn’t come, so I asked the same waitress about it, I was told the same “manager is busy at the moment”. After another 10 minutes I decided to go to counter to talk to the manager. After I explained everything and how this wasted our time and we felt the mood was ruined, so I wondered if there was a service recovery. She (the manager) apologized and said “so what do you want?” I answered “I don’t know how your restaurant handles this situation, it could be full refund? half refund? or anything else?” She went talk to the owner G about it and came back, saying “we can’t give you any refund, we have around 20 employees to feed, but we can give you a beer” At that moment I just wanted to confirm what I heard thus I replied “So no refund, just a beer?” Since she knew we needed to catch a train later, suddenly she got really tough and said “I’m sorry, owner G said I can give you a beer but I DON’T WANT TO, you can just leave now and go catch the train” The whole situation I didn’t shout or yell, so I was extremely shocked how the manager dealt with me like that at the very end, she kept saying it’s holiday now so they are busy, in that case customers are the ones who should suffer from this attitude? When something goes wrong, keeping customers waiting for so long, and it even happened twice (one hour for the pizza and more than half an hour for the manage to come), you didn’t spontaneously do something about it first until customers came to you, and even gave them this really unfriendly attitude and horrible replies. Truly it was just a waste of time and money...
Read moreGreat vibe for a holiday get-away! It’s right beside Waio beach and train station, super convenient. This place is so popular so I understand it takes some time to have my food and drinks. Pizzas and beer is a perfect match here, whereas the cocktails isn’t recommended.
Then why I give it 5 stars? Because a female staff there that truly cares about customers. I asked her if she can find a spare chair during their rush hour. She said she’ll try her best. After a while, she came back to me and apologized for no chairs. I thanked her for the effort. BUT!! She returned again with a chair!! She still tried to help her customer even the whole thing was supposed to be finished when she apologized(which she doesn’t need to). I’m really touched by her service.
