Mother's Love Garlic Meat Soup — Restaurant in Yilan City

Thin noodles, chewy meat, starchy soup with lots of garlic. They give you the option of adding noodles, meat or go extra laaarge. Damn the garlic taste is wowwee! Not overpowering for me but may be for others. Love it! Can add side of taiwanese kimchi - hits different to the korean kimchi (I prefer taiwanese kimchi over korean after trying that a few times this trip). Reasonably priced. Hands down for the BEST garlic rice/noodle dish. Simple menu with not too many options, and their specialty is, of course, garlic. Go early afternoon to avoid the crowd. Line up on the right side for a number, and just wait to be called. Meanwhile check out their menu and get your order form ready. Add a dash of vinegar (in a tray with chili oil, placed on a little wooden station opposite of side entrance, next to tissue dispenser) for better taste. Crowded restaurant, hard to find parking if you drive but it is ok for those on motorcycles. Take a queue number and write your order on the order sheet. When your number is called, pay at the cashier. Collect your buzzer and find a table. When the buzzer buzzes, collect your food from the cashier area.
