Yaokaoshanzhan Village — Restaurant in Yilan City

Stopped by this place Nov 2016. Thought it's a must-try, but turns out to be a touristy type of place. I wouldn't go out of my way to see it.

It's still okay if you need to stop by to buy some food to go or snacks to eat in the car. Nothing too special. Restroom is....well, they were remodeling at that time so wasn't the best. Definitely a place to visit when you are in Yilan. Their roast chicken was really delicious, the veggies dish was tasty and the orange juice prawn was excellent. We tried out the samples for the bread and their bread was very soft and fresh made. 2 for NT100 for a big one. One piece can serve for 2 paxs. Interesting place to take photo too! Hidden gem! Love how all popular Taiwanese snacks are well represented here + packaged in a cute way. Good place to buy souvenirs. The outdoor area is also filled with different mascots that are good for picture taking.
