🍣🎉 "Hello fellow foodies! I recently dined at 舞日本料理 Mai Japanese Restaurant while staying at the Westin Yilan, celebrating a birthday bash with my parents.

The restaurant serves up a traditional Japanese fare, starting from those tiny cold appetizers that tease your taste buds, moving through to the main course, and ending on a sweet note with dessert or fruit. 🍢🍨 Each dish was a visual and culinary artwork, delicious for sure, but kind of like a good movie that doesn't stick with you long after the credits roll. 🎬🤔

Now, let's chat about the service. The waitstaff were like ninjas of niceness – super attentive and stealthily efficient. The highlight? They waived the bottle opening fee for our sake as we celebrated. It's like finding an extra gift under the birthday tree! 🎁🍶

Mai Japanese Restaurant is like a zen garden – quiet as a cricket, serene, and perfect if you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle. 🌿🦗 But if you're in the mood for a more vibrant scene where you can pick and mix your dishes, you might want to explore other shores.

In a nutshell, if a tranquil, traditional Japanese dining experience is what you're after, Mai is your go-to. For more lively culinary adventures, set your sails elsewhere. ⛵🍱

P.S - Did I mention they only offer...

Ingredients were fresh and food tasted not bad. The staff was friendly and service was also okay. The only reason for the three stars is that they rushed between dishes. My pace has never been slow but they managed to constantly deliver the next plate before I finished the previous one. I came here to relax... When I asked them why they did that, they told me there were guests requesting them to rush the order. They should have asked first. If you don’t like this either, request them to slow down.

BTW, if you are unlucky like me, you may dine with loud guests... guess it’s not uncommon here. Hard to find a...
