Back-Haus — Restaurant in Zhubei City

By chance, I came by this bakery and was amazed to find authentic German/Austrian cuisine here in Taiwan. The baked goods are delicious. Especially, the bread and the 'Semmeln'. I had the 'German Breakfast', which offers a good selection of cheese, sausage and ham. Also, I recommend to taste the 'Vanillekipferl', which are traditional Austrian Christmas cookies! Thank you for bringing back some home...

Met the owner a few days ago. Nice guy and appreciate his efforts to make this place as authentic as possible (he's Austrian). There is a more popular restaurant in Kaohsiung but the Zhubei branch bakery doesn't get enough foot traffic sadly.
