Baxter gelato義大利式極緻手工冰淇淋， 也是竹東之光之一！ 竹東和義大利的pizza和冰淇淋很有緣， 有間為愛走天涯的Sandro Pizza， 義大利老闆掌廚，在大同國小正門前； 有間Baxter Gelato義式手工冰淇淋。 Baxter Gelato在自強國中那一帶， 說真的還需再走一下。 （因自強國中， 算是這店附近較大的地標。） 要從自強國中籃球場旁的自強路， 往新竹市區方向走， 它和Hi-Life萊爾富天行健店同邊， 先走過u-bike停靠站、長春天廈， Baxter gelato在浩騰乾洗店旁。 說真的它店面不明顯， 我自己去吃過， 但後來去還是很容易走過頭， 只要記得它的店是從自強國中那， 走大概走5-7分鐘， 過乾洗店旁到越式小吃之間。 店裡有幾張椅子可坐著吃和等。 店員很親切， 也大方提供客人試吃。 那時帶回家的是干邑葡萄， 很綿密好吃！ 喜歡義大利式手工冰淇淋口感的愛好者們， 歡迎來竹東玩+品嚐唷！
