We should have seen the warning signs upon entering the restaurant, when we were told there were no shashliks because the grill was not working. There were 10 of us. Firstly, not all dishes were available. Secondly, the waiter was all over the shop taking our orders. 4 of our party were served within a reasonable time. However, the others were left waiting for 90 mins. When told that we would walk out if not served soon, 3 soups arrived. 2 of our group gave up waiting and left. We were then left waiting on one steak meal. 15 mins later, the waiter came in sheepishly and told us that their gas was not working and they couldn’t serve the last meal! something they should have mentioned at the start. Warning! Be clear in asking what the item is on the menu before you order! We ordered Lobiani (a bread with kidney beans inside) and they brought us Lobio (kidney bean soup)! We prefer Shvili quality and flavor over Tiflis. The Kubdari was mediocre and the Chkmer Chicken had no garlic, it was a heavy creamy mayonnaise sauce.
