I have high standards, which is why I frequented this establishment. Customers place quite a bit of trust in restaurant staff. When that trust is violated, for example: a hair net malfunction; some effort to reconcile must be made or restaurateurs risk the loss of future business. Artisan's staff was I'll equipped to appropriately manage such a situation when brought to their attention. The Owner did, however, reach out to offer remedy & for that reason I've revised this review & increased the rating from 1 to 3 stars. Removing the review would undermine the intended purpose of this consumer resource as well as remove the incentive to address deficiencies. Artisan is poised to become one of the best dining establishments in Arusha if they fine tune a few things. It's atmosphere & menu options are inviting...another reviewer mentioned their croissants & I second her motion to grant Artisan the "Best" Title in that category. Staff must be trained to do more than just serve. Customer experience as well as satisfaction should be prioritized to guarantee returns (customers & investment). In our post-pandemic world, equipping Kitchen staff with necessary sanitary items (to include hair nets) should now be standard operating procedure internationally, not just in so-called "developed" nations. I wish Artisan's stakeholders success in rising to the standards & expectations their target market and price...

I recently visited Artisan Coffee & Patisserie and tried a few of their offerings: the Prime Beef Burger, Matcha Milk Tea, and their Mix juice with ginger, passion, and mint.

The Prime Beef Burger was absolutely delicious! The beef patty was juicy and cooked perfectly, paired with fresh toppings and a soft, flavorful bun. It was a satisfying meal that left me impressed.

The Matcha Milk Tea had a rich, earthy matcha flavor balanced with creamy milk. It wasn’t overly sweet, which I appreciated—it felt refreshing and authentic.

The Mix juice was a delightful surprise. The blend of ginger, passion fruit, and mint was both invigorating and refreshing. It had the perfect balance of tanginess and sweetness, with the mint adding a cooling effect that made it incredibly enjoyable.

Overall, Artisan Coffee & Patisserie exceeded my expectations with their high-quality food and creative drinks. I’ll definitely be returning to try more...

Lovely place, staff, food and drinks. We visited for brunch and it was exactly what we were looking for. It was quiet and a lovely place to sit. The interior is aesthetic, clean and comfortable. Their menu has so much choice, I’m sure there is something for everyone. Really reasonably priced - we had 5 drinks and 4 meals which cost under Ā£30 (103,000 TZS), one drink was free as part of a deal they had on. Portion sizes are very generous, and the food was all delicious. There is free wifi, a play area suitable for small children, and a lovely outdoor seating area and gardens to walk around.

Great place, highly recommend.
