Juliana Pub — Restaurant in Dar es-Salaam

Inwas initially recommended by a friend to come to this pub,honestly I really enjoyed the the party life happening inside the place...the staff where good and the level responsiveness was good but I think they could do better, food was really delicious...i ate some BBQ. One thing I could recommend to a first timer going to this pub is to arrive early as 9pm to secure a good sitting post(middle bar and Tv area seem a good spot to me),find a waitress physically as soon as you sit down especially when the place is so packed because they can hardly attend you to to the human load in the area...ooow and the management should try to buy ashtrays ,i asked for one and they said there were no ashtrays around🤭😧,odd response for a place which operated as a pub to have no...

Came here 2 weeks back with family and we received the BEST service from a lady called Asifiwe she was impeccable. Made sure the food was bought out quickly, took the order quickly and was patient with us . She moved us as there were too many flies where we sat, and she even followed up on drinks order as the lady who was taking our drinks seemed to take too long. We tipped this lady as she was fantastic at her job!.

If you do tip make sure you specify who it is for as when we were leaving the lady who was serving drinks took money from Asifiwe as she saw we tipped her. ( or just tipped quietly and discretely) If she SMILED once in a while we would have tipped her but...

The place has changed a lot for the past year or so. Well renovated and redesigned to allow for more space between tables. The ambience is balanced and not too "shouty".

Perfect location for groups to meet and have fun. The music is good, and not too loud so you can hold a conversation without shouting at the top of your lungs!

Menu options are great, mostly meat varieties (pork, beef, goat, chicken, fish) and the usual side dishes. Food tastes great here and the wait is usually between 10 - 30 mins depending on what you order.

Minus a star, parking space is limited and forces one to park by the roadside which is risky and prone to getting hit by...
