Dom Collina Restaurant and Wine Bar — Restaurant in Dodoma

The restaurant Collina was a false indication of Google and the owner who left written Italian cuisine. The are Not Italians . Our experience did not lead to a good evening because from arrival to viewing the menu, wine list and sweet tasting it was a climb of total failure! I will try to describe what we ate as written above Collina it is not Italian, when I asked for Italian bread or focaccia to be placed in the middle of the table I had to dialogue with several waiters and receive the bread in a box which is eaten as a sandwich or toasted (fortunately it wasn't yellow flour 😄) then request wine, no list you have to go into the small room to see what they have but the idea was to drink Prosecco which they didn't know what it was 😄👋 then the choice of dish to eat?? another mega problem we didn't allow ourselves to ask for pasta or lasagna or gnocchi or pizza 🍕 we asked for a classic roasted chicken breast with mashed potatoes ... however the bad thing came with the request for dessert, tiramisu which we have tasted and never ever has traveling been more obscene! it was a gelatinous plastic cake it reminded me of fake desserts!!! oh gosh , very bad dinner!! a suggestion for the Collina ? The owner should change the menu 2 options or local food or put delicious international dishes! like Lebanese meatballs, Greek salads, Italian facaccie, English roast beef and so on for...

The "Continental Breakfast" is poor: (1) only butter is served to toast and croissant, upon request for jam or honey I was told that it is not included, (2) only tea as hot beverage is included, upon request for alternatives I was told no alternative, (3) croissant, muffin and toast bread are many days old - very dry and hard, (4) fruit salad is OK but portion is small (that's fine though). Visited for the first time for a change from my usual luncheon haunts . Very good ambience, place is neat and everything is orderly . Being a Sunday , we were welcomed to a Brunch buffet .
