Jacquessalad and restaurant dodoma — Restaurant in Dodoma

Reasons why I'm never gonna eat here again: It took almost 2 hours to get the food after ordering. We (was there with 5 other friends) had to tell them multiple times about our drinks orders to get them, some of my friends waited for an hour before their drinks were served. My friend found a chicken wing in her 'beef' sizzling dish. We told the manager this and he said it's impossible we must've put it there ourselves 🤨. He even came back to tell us he's looked over the CCTV footage and that we were lying, we told him to show us the footage so we can all see it but he wouldn't. We were gaslighted and called liars. PS: He looked drunk. When my order arrived, I ordered bbq ribs, they looked dry and most of it was just fat, didn't look anything like bbq ribs. I told the waiter my concern and at first he tried to convince me that it wasn't fat (while we all could see it), then said he'd take it back. Just 5 minutes later he came back with another plate, this time one piece was from the previous plate (at least it looked like it, still dry) and the rest were smeared with a bbq sauce that they were completely dark (could also be the same pieces, or maybe some boiled meat smeared in bbq sauce🤷🏾‍♀️). It looked suspicious (not gonna say what else I thought they did) and at this point i wasn't comfortable eating it, and I told them that I'm only gonna eat the fries (which are paid for separately) and they should take the meat back. Then all hell broke loose. First the waiter was forcing me to eat it, then the manager sided with him trying to make me eat it instead of listening to my concerns. I told them so many times that I wasn't gonna eat it but they wouldn't listen. They left the meat at our table for almost an hour until it was time to leave. Then they brought us one bill although we specifically told them everyone was paying for themselves, and they included the untouched meat, and told us they wouldn't let us leave until we pay the whole bill! We paid for everything except the meat, but locked the gate and wouldn't let us drive through! Eventually we paid for the uneaten meat, after a while of quarreling, so we could just leave. It's unbelievable that what happened happened even when I'm writing this right now...!

First of all, the AUDACITY! 🙌🏽 Secondly, I asked for the meat to be returned (due to given reasons above), and only ate the plate of chips, which I paid for, I also paid for my drink. But you refuse to return it instead wanted me to pay for it even though I didn't touch it?? Make it make sense... Also we were leaving because we HAD paid our bill, nobody was "running" as you are insinuating. You refuse to open the gate for us and asked us to get out of the car, which we did without you having to ask twice, but didn't listen to us/our concerns instead all you were fixated on was that we pay for the un-eaten dish. Also why aren't you addressing my other complaints?? Or are you only fixed on trying to justify your extremely unprofessional actions... PS: Your restaurant is not even close to a high end restaurant. Your reply alone is enough evidence. I'm concerned if you even know the meaning of a high end...

Gave second chance to this place after a while (1st was as bad as this). Arrived, no guests around, empty and empty feeling, jo atmosphere at all. Waitress was kind and helpful the best she could. 3 of us. Potatoes not available for our 2 dishes with chips (I made joke I could go outside local.shop to buy some). We ordered for us 2 x GRILLED beef ribs and 1 chicken jugest for iur daughter. Food arrived 1hr after fir our little one (after we asked twice), burned loke charcoal which i returned back straight away and rectified atter 15min (how difficult to do in first instance); our food took even longer, i raised the tone askeing for anager as we were hungry and tired (wife pregnant), no manager available and we wanted to leave. Finaly arrived. Looking good (just the look). GRILLED ribes were jot even close to the grill, overboiled and overPoured of cheap bbq sauce. Tasteless and even though looking full plates our appetite ended there. Bill overcharged of big salad Because I choose salad as they didn't have chips (potato) available. Never again. How you can run such a restaurant is a mystery. Last time we put our feet there. Could flourish and bloom of customers, guess why is empty even on our second visit. Pity. Worst experience in...
