Poa Poa Restaurant, must be the best restaurant I have been to in the area of bagamoyo. As somebody who knows Bagamoyo inside and outside I can guarantee you that this place has to be taken into consideration whether it's for lunch or a place to get a few drinks in the evening. What i loved; They have very good chefs and absolutely reliable and consistent delicious tastes. Their foods are well portioned so you are sure to be full. Their prices are VERY FAIR, considering the hotel standard food they provide. The restaurant has a touristy atmosphere with African songs and art.

What i didn't like; They don't have good parking spots. Parking is unavailable! The outside isn't very welcoming. The atmosphere inside is not the best, but its good enough.

Good food and fast service (uncommon to Tanzania), but pecuniary hash: When I entered, a waiter has borrowed 5000 shilling from me, because I looked as good money. There was no attempt at all to refund the money, and I paid the bill due to normal menu prizes, which were relativly inexpensive.
