MOYO Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Unguja

My now wife and I spent 3/4 days at the Zanzibella hotel - the host to this exquisite restaurant & where do I even begin to describe the wonderful time we had here.

Firstly if it were possible to rate this establishment more than 5 stars; we absolutely would 10/5 - Exceeded Expectations by a MILE and MORE!!

Be rest assured you will be treated like a VIP. Incredible attention to detail, whether it be the accommodations, the amenities and in this case ESPECIALLY the food. If you like flavor THIS is the place to be, take it from a notorious foodie.

Every single meal we’d had, from their breakfast options to lunch was delectable!! The service obviously is extremely friendly, this is the Zanzibella way. Presentation is akin to the finest of dining. And you enjoy all this with a view of the Zanzibella hotel pool front and the beautiful ocean waters of kiwengwa.

My finest regards to the chef once again, this restaurant was our exclusive go to for lunch and dinner through the beginning of our honeymoon and we were more than satisfied every step...

If you’re looking for a fantastic dining experience with a view of the ocean, this restaurant is a must-visit. They serve delicious, fresh fish and seafood that are simply delightful. The curry was exceptional, and the burgers were perfectly cooked—there’s something for everyone here.

First we love that the staff allows changes for the side dishes. My lady - as she is vegetarian - also was really pleased with the vegan and vegetarian options on the a la carte menu. I personally fell in love with the Tuna Tartare ! It’s amazing ! Also really liked the beef fillet, the catches of the day (fish) all kinds of pasta, the Zanzibella salad and the chocolate lava cake as a dessert but more on that later on ...
