Great food with a good heart.
I’ve made it a tradition to stop by this restaurant every time I’m in Lampang—and for good reason. Their food is consistently excellent — a genuine old time home cooking. Some of my all-time favorites include the zesty stir-fried beef, the peppery wood ear mushrooms with egg, and the crispy fried Shanghai sausage.
But beyond the amazing food, what truly sets this place apart is their integrity and care for customers. On July 21, 2025, I stopped by for lunch and enjoyed my usual favorites before continuing my road trip to Nakhon Sawan. About 300 km later, I realized I had accidentally left my small fanny pack in their restroom.
I contacted the restaurant via Facebook, and they quickly confirmed they had found it. They even sent a photo to assure me everything was intact. Not only were they incredibly polite and professional, but they also offered to send it to my home in Bangkok—without hesitation. I asked for a PromptPay number to cover the shipping fee, but within 30 minutes they had already sent my belongings via Thai Post and provided a tracking slip. When I followed up about payment, they kindly told me not to worry about it.
Though the shipping fee was small, their act of kindness was enormous. I’m not a regular—just an occasional visitor, maybe once a year—but they treated me with genuine care and respect. In today’s world, that kind of honesty and service is rare.
This place deserves every bit of praise—not only for their outstanding food but also for the goodness at the heart of their business. Kudos to the team for going above and beyond. You’ve earned a loyal...

Read moreHeritage cook-shop style restaurant. Been around for half a century or more. Only less than 10 menu but all are great! Their stif-fried beef with oyster sauce is something you must try. It's quite dry and spicy which made it unique. Their shanghai sausage is also another dish you can't find anywhere else. It's made of a salted egg yolk, chinese sweet sausage and wrapped with tofu sheet. The soup is my most favourite. A bit of everything put into made it tasty and nutritious....
