I have consistently been pleased with the restaurants and cafes I have visited in Bangkok and I recently had one of the greatest cafe experiences since moving to Bangkok when I discovered Cataleya Estate. Easily accessible, pet-friendly, and stunning, this place is only a 7-minute cab ride from the Punnawithi BTS station. I strongly recommend it to everyone!
There is something quite extravagant about Cataleya Estate’s design that is not typical of other cafes. Every area of the cafe is inviting to comfort and relaxation because of its open, urban interior design. The classical architecture of the building gave it a great aura, and in addition to that, the space was planned to create an atmosphere where nature permeates the surrounds without being overbearing and makes for the perfect aesthetic background for some great pictures! A very peaceful place to get creative and just spend hours!
I was assisted in choosing what to order by the very kind and inviting staff. I got the Garden Fresh Tomato Salad as my first dish after selecting a number of items from their extensive menu. With its assortment of succulent heirloom tomatoes mixed with olive oil and basil, this dish seemed like the ideal way to start and with the Parmigiano Reggiano sprinkled over the tomatoes, the flavor was further enhanced. The Berry Power Bowl was my next meal, and it was a fantastic, high-protein dish! The dish's depth and sharpness came from the different mixed berries, and the Greek yogurt was the ideal accompaniment. Additionally, the dish benefited greatly from the richness of the peanut butter, which further improved the texture.
I had ordered the Wild Mushroom Fettuccine for my third course. The sautéed mushrooms gave the dish an earthy flavor, while the pasta was cooked to perfection and had a really pleasing texture. It tasted much better with the addition of the garlic, and I was able to enjoy every bite with the rich flavors of the Parmigiano Reggiano. Super tasty dish that I’d definitely go back for as it’s not easy to find such a flavourful pasta dish anywhere else in BKK so far! I enjoyed this dish with their Pink Lemonade, which provided a delightfully sweet and citrusy taste!
I then ordered the Sautéed Mushrooms and Herb and Garlic Mashed Potatoes. With the sautéed mushrooms adding the buttery garlic taste and the velvety mashed potatoes adding the texture and aromatics, these two meals were able to work so well together that every bite was overflowing with flavor! I ordered a Park Lane sandwich with avocado, boiled eggs, and olives as my final savory meal. The combination of the crispy apples and the soft, creamy avocado gave the sandwich a fantastic texture and mouthwatering flavor. This sandwich, which is served between two slices of properly toasted sourdough and topped with boiled eggs, is a must-try when you visit!
Their Vanilla Infused Custard, a classic crème brûlée, was the dessert I had for the day's last meal. The smooth, vanilla-infused custard and gorgeous caramelized sugar placed on top of this simple yet sophisticated delicacy fulfilled all of my sweet cravings. This dish is a must-have for me anytime I decide to visit Cataleya again because of its rich texture and its perfect amount of sweetness, making every bite go down effortlessly! Everything about my experience at Cataleya Estate was excellent, from the setting and the private room to the mouthwatering food and the friendly staff! Cataleya Estate has everything you could possibly need in a cafe, so if you're in Bangkok or already live here, I strongly suggest you stop by and visit Cataleya for a...

Cataleya Estate was accurately described as Instagram-worthy. The place while lookinh unassuming on the outside, its interiors were beautiful and tastefully done. Bricked walls and cement ceilings gave the venue an European atmosphere - a respite from the busy bustle of Bangkok.
The venue is located in a residential suburb of Bangkok and not easy to get to. Roads in were narrow and even my Grab driver hesitated driving in.
First impression of Cataleya Estate was pleasant. I was greeted at the entrance by a well-dressed gentleman and led to the second floor of the cafe. He politely introduced my group to a friendly server and she brought us to a table. She had the sweetest smile which lit our experience. She even had a furkid, Euro, under her care and freely roaming the cafe. It was very friendly and knew how to pose for visitors.
My group ordered a few drinks and garlic bread as a tea time snack. It was average fare.
We spent a good hour or so getting respite from the heat, and watching gleeful groups of people taking photos by the minute everywhere. We were cosily seated at the side so we weren't too bothered but I imagine that it can get quite distracting for patrons seated closer to photo spots.
Overall, the atmosphere and service at Cataleya Estate was great and we were glad we...

I went there for a dessert, but they also serve western appetisers and main courses. The signature dessert was so delectable and was of a good quality. Before I came here, the price tag made me reluctant. But I decided to come in the end because of the architecture's charm. After trying the first bite, I can say it deserves the price. This time I tried a cake and a tea. I am looking forward to coming again for something else on the menu.
Another thing I was impressed with is the owner and the managing team. They were very friendly and happy chatting with customers in many different languages. I really enjoyed talking to them.
The downside is the location. It's not really hard to go but it's not easy to get back to the main road. The place is deep inside the alley. You can take a taxi or a motorbike taxi there, but there are none of them nearby for the return trip. So you can opt for a 2-km walk or use the taxi calling applications.
For the fans of Ittha Boutique, this place once bore this name. So yes, it's the same place, but no it's also not quite the same place. It looks much the same, but the menu is completely different and is now managed...
