Ballad Riverside Rooftop Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Bang Pa Kok Subdistrict

First and definitely the last time visiting. I had fairly high expectations for Ballad Riverside Rooftop Bar & Restaurant given its location, but the experience was disappointing beyond what I imagined.

To start, it took 30 minutes just to get water, despite asking the staff twice — and it only arrived after the food. We also ordered the calamari, which never came, yet it was still included on the receipt. We had to point this out ourselves.

While the staff were polite, their professionalism was lacking from the beginning. Even the initial phone reservation was odd — the staff laughed during the call, which felt unprofessional. We were promised a riverside view table, but upon arrival, we were seated awkwardly in the middle of the space, surrounded by other tables. We were only moved after I insisted, despite one staff member initially refusing.

As for the food: • The Spaghetti Black Ink with Baby Octopus was, frankly, the worst I’ve ever had. • The Burrata Pizza was passable, but nothing memorable. • The calamari? I guess I’ll never know.

Overall, the combination of poor service, disorganization, and subpar food made this a disappointing experience — and certainly not one...

-อาหารเฉยๆ ไม่ได้จัดว่าอร่อย แค่กินได้ พิซซ่าขอบไหม้ไปหลายชิ้น สปาเก็ตตี้หมึกดำคือเฉยมาก -พื้นที่ร้านน้อย คับแคบ ตอนไปเจอกรุปใหญ่มาปาร์ตี้ 30 คน วุ่นวายมาก เสียงดัง คนเดินเพ่นพ่าน ไม่มีความสงบ เป็นส่วนตัวเลยสักนิด ไม่สมราคา เสียงคนคุยว่าดังแล้ว เปิดเพลงดังประโคมกันเข้าไปอีก ปวดประสาทมาก -ราคาแพงอย่างไม่ต้องสงสัย แต่ถ้าเทียบกับสิ่งที่ได้รับคือ เกินราคา เสียดายเงินมาก เสียเงินพันแลกกับประสบการณ์ห่วยๆ -พนักงานพยายามบริการสุดความสามารถ แก้ปัญหาหน้างานได้ดีที่สุดแล้ว แต่ไม่โอเคจริงๆ สรุปทำได้แค่รีบกินไม่ถึง 1 ชม. รีบห่อกลับ ทนกินต่อไม่ไหว

อยากฝากถึงร้าน คุณต้องสื่อสารกับลูกค้าให้ดีกว่านี้ 1.คุณอ่านไลน์ไม่ตอบ - ทั้งทักไปจอง พิมไปเลื่อนเวลา อ่านไม่ตอบครั้งแล้วครั้งเล่าจนต้องโทร ก็อ้างว่าติดหน้าร้าน บลาๆ ไม่ตอบก็คือไม่ตอบ ไม่ต้องอ้าง ถ้าพนักงานไม่พอ ก็จ้างเพิ่มสิครับ แก้ปัญหาเป็นมั้ย? 2.คุณไม่คอนเฟิร์มลูกค้าก่อนถึงเวลา - คุณไม่คอนเฟิร์มผมว่ามาตามที่จองมั้ย จำนวนถูกต้องมั้ย เลยทำให้ผมไม่แน่ใจว่าคุณคอนเฟิร์มคนอื่นด้วยมั้ย วันนี้คุณบอกว่ากรุปที่จองมา 15 คน แต่มาจริง 30+ ก็เพราะคุณไม่คอนเฟิร์มเค้ารึป่าว แล้วจะมาอ้างได้ไงว่า “ไม่รู้ว่ามาขนาดนี้ ไม่งั้นจะให้เข้าห้อง” ถ้าลึกๆคุณรู้อยู่แก่ใจว่ากรุปใหญ่หรือซื้อแพคเกจที่คุณคอยจ้องแต่จะขายลูกค้าเพราะได้เงินก้อน คุณต้องมีปัญญารับมือจัดการด้วย คุณยิ่งต้องคอนเฟิร์มล่วงหน้าอย่างรัดกุมรึป่าว? ไม่งั้นคุณก็ต้องแสดงความรับผิดชอบด้วยการ ปิดร้านรับกรุปนั้นไปเลย ไม่ใช่ได้คืบจะเอาศอก ได้กรุปใหญ่แต่ก็ขอยอดจากโต๊ะเล็กด้วย บอกเลยนะ คนไปโต๊ะเล็กเสียอารมณ์!

ตั้งใจจะไปเพื่อโอกาสพิเศษ แต่เป็นได้รับประสบการณ์ที่แย่มาก รู้งี้ไม่ไปตั้งแต่แรกให้เสียอารมณ์ ไม่น่าให้โอกาสร้านนี้แต่แรก เห็นว่าเป็นร้านใหม่ แต่ผิดหวังมาก

ใครอยากจะไปเดทสงบส่วนตัวๆ หาร้านอื่นเถอะ อย่าไปเชื่อภาพในโซเชียลมาก ถ้าคุณไม่อยากทำให้คู่รักคุณผิดหวัง

A new riverside restaurant on the Thonburi side with a scenic atmosphere. However, window-side seating is very limited and mostly reserved for birthday celebrations — only a few tables can be set up that way. If more were added, it would feel too cramped.

If you're hoping for a quiet, romantic evening, it's best to come around 4 PM to catch the sunset over the Chao Phraya River. Otherwise, after sunset, the interior becomes quite dim, to the point where reading the menu is difficult.

As for the food, the presentation doesn't quite match the price point. The pizza, which seems to be one of their signature dishes, looked appetizing but was disappointing — the crust lacked flavor. The seabass steak was overcooked and dry.

Recommended dishes: the “dusty fried chicken” and Caesar salad.

The roselle soda was very refreshing, but the tall glass caused condensation to drip constantly.

The service was attentive (when the restaurant wasn’t too crowded), with staff proactively clearing plates and replacing them without needing to be asked.

ร้านใหม่ย่านฝั่งธน บรรยากาศริมน้ำ แต่ที่นั่งติดริมหน้าต่างมีจำกัดมาก และตกแต่งไว้สำหรับคนจอดมาฉลองวันเกิดซึ่งก็ตั้งได้ไม่กี่โต๊ะไม่งั้นก็จะติดกันเกินไปบรรยากาศจะน่าอึดอัดมากไปหากคุณอยากมาร้านเงียบๆ บรรยากาศโรแมนติกควรมาซักสี่โมงเย็นมาชมพระอาทิตย์ตก วิวแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา ไม่งั้นถ้ามาหบังพระอาทิตย์ตกแล้วบรรยากาศในร้านแต่ละโต๊ะจะมืดมาก ชนิดที่เปิดเมนูดูไม่รู้เรื่อง

ส่วนตัวเมนูที่ร้านทำออกมาดูไม่มีราคาเท่าที่ควร พิซซ่าที่ดูจะเป็น signature ของที่นี่ดูน่าทานมากแต่ไม่อร่อยเลย ตัวแป้งไม่มีรสชาติ สเต็กปลากระพงแห้งเกินไป เมนูแนะนำ: ไก่ทอดคลุกฝุ่น/ซีซ่าสลัด น้ำกระเจี๊ยบโซดาอร่อยมาก แต่แก้วทรงสูงทำให้มีเกร็ดน้ำหยดตลอดเวลา
