WARNING: be prepared to travel far from Bangkok city to this cafe. BUT I can tell you everything is worth it. I did have my struggles initially and I can say I didn't regret my choice, because I tasted one of the best croissants here! Right here! The taxi journey was close to an hour, because the driver lost his way a bit at the end by not going up and down the expressway to the exit and too the U turn route. The moment you enter into the cafe you can smell the aroma of the croissants, and you look at the display and you feel like you want to try everything. Of course I had my preference but I asked the cashier to recommend me the popular/signatures and they were always not my choice. Nevertheless I decided to go along with their recommendations. I can only say it was good, so good. The Macadamia caramel one was very good but I think the main factor was not the flavours but was the croissant itself. Price for this piece is not cheap though its 235 Baht! I also decided to try a chocolate Amman (which the shape looks weird because I never seen Amman which looks like this). Nevermind the shape it tasted awesome as well. All went along well with a Berry tea. Not sure if there is a branch in Silom, seems to have a listing in Google as well. The irony was that I read it somewhere it opens at 930am but the mall itself opens at 1030. I reached the Silom Complex at 930 and could not enter and left. And I also read it that they only have 1 shop and no other branches. Not sure about the 2 reviews on the...

One can expect to find long cues to get into the cafe to sample the many interesting and creative creations of Chef Jamesâ, some times, up to several hours. There is even a drive-through pick-up (still with cues) if you do not want to spend a long-time waiting to be seated.
The basic offerings of French classic pastries are there and definitely worth it to sample. From the buttery smooth, and flaky crusted plain croissants to more fancy toppings/fillings of macadamia nuts, tiramisu, chocolates and the likes, definitely you wonât be disappointed. The prices are on the up-scaled side too (as expected). Plain croissants are almost US$3/each, and double that or more for the more exotic varieties. Still, if you are looking for a nice, high-quality French pastry to enjoy in Bangkok, James Boulangerie is highly...
