Cozy place to sit and eat, especially if you enjoy outdoor dining. They offer a wide menu, first and most consisting of different Thai food favourites, but also quite a lot of Western dishes. (But stick to Thai food for best experience) I recommend the Thai style steak with sweet and spicy "djao" sauce, also the beef sticks are really good, Cesar salad is ok, don't bother with the Samsen mixed fries though. My only problem with the place is, I've been there on weekends, and the service is always good, and then I've been there on normal weekdays, and service was really bad. (I don't know if the manager had day off, so the staff was sloppy, and didn't care to give good service) So overall (based mostly on weekend visits) 4 stars, and still recommendable.

At Samsen Restaurant, you've gotta try these huge river prawns – 3 in 1 kg sized. They come with really hot rice, i mixed up the hot stream rice with the yummiest prawn stuff, and there's this cool dipping sauce too. The prawns are super fresh and just taste amazing. And if you're into steak, their Australian steak is something else. It's cooked just right to medium rare, with this Thai sauce that's kinda different but really good. Plus, there are some fresh veggies on the side. It's like mixing Aussie and Thai food in the best way.

The​ place​ is​ clean​ and​ the​ Ice-glass Beer​ is​ always​ my​ favorite.​ Various​ options​ of​ food.​ The​ taste​ of​ cheese seemed a​ bit weird​ this​ time, I​ have​ no​ idea​ why.​ (I​ order​ed​ Caesar Salad)​ The​ Restaurant​ change​d​ the​ menu​ to​ be​ a​n​ A4paper which​ is​ a​ lot​ easier to​ go​ through.​ (they​ used​ to​ have​ a​ Book​ of​ menu)​ They​ used​ to​ allow​ the​ bag​ of​ Pet​ to​ sit​ outside​ area​ (I​ brought my​ cat​ there​ once)​,​ but​ this​ time​ they're​ not​ allow​ at​ all.​ So​ this​ place​ isn't pet-friendly, not​ even​ in​ the​ bag​ or​ the​ area​ outside.

About 30mins outside the centre of Bangkok, but what a great place. Excellent menu selection, the ice cold beer was very good, especially as it was hot, hot, hot. Many of the tables were taken inside, but we always try and sit outside. Very pleasant setting, and the staff were fab, taking very good care of everything. I was a little sad that pepper softshell crab had been removed from the menu, but the staff are so good, the chef made it especially for us. Highly recommended and we will certainly return.

My favorite Thai restaurant! 💯 Every food served here is delicious. For me, the most impressive dish is Tom Yum Kung. It's just delectable. 🦐♥️☺️ The other menus are also excellent. My father ordered Sun Dried Pork and Stir-fried Stink Bean and Prawn. It's delicious. The service is outstanding. The staff is friendly and helpful. In light of what we received, the pricing is reasonable. ✨ I'm looking forward to returning to this place!

Used to have a very good experience with Samsen Villa (Samsen branch) so decided to come to Ratchaprug branch on 1 Jan 2022. My family and I didn' t enjoy much about the service and the food. It may be because of crowded customers on that day. It took long time to have the staff come and take us to the table. Beer was not cool and cold as we expected. Food was not as good as we used to have at another branch.
