Mr india restaurant — Restaurant in Chalong

if you are an indian tourust then chances are your local guide or driver will bring you to this place as I think they stand to benefit from the commission that they get. Its one of the worst places to have indian food.

atmosphere is dingy, the owner is arrogant and rude. To save costs he only takes orders from all the tables single handedly which wastes a lot of time. food takes a lot of time to arrive and by that time everyone is so frustrated. food is ok, not so great and it is ridiculously expensive and not at all worth it. Instead I would recommend to request you driver or guide to take you further for 20 minutes to main phuket area opposite patong beach and then have food at the mall there which is better and way cheaper.

to add to the woes we have to go to the owner who makes the bill (everything he single handedly does which wastes a lot of time) and make him write what we had ordered. Certainly a no no place. Better die hungry rather than going to this restaurant.

We had ordered mushroom masala but instead they brought channa masala. By that time we were so frustrated that we started eating channa masala. After a while he brings mushroom masala and forcibly tells us that we have to pay for both the vegetables. The worst experience we ever had... owner is mad, unrealistic, don't believe his words... The taxi people have tie ups with him. The owner charges VAT on food. He has acted for 10 secs in movie, good thing for him but he will push it on you saying I run restaurant for passion. Food taste is worst, definitely the passion is missing. Quality and quantity is pathetic. If you go there you will be the only person sitting and eating there. If you find another they are also stuck like you. The owner was very welcoming at first but only till you order food, once you order he will make you feel low by saying eat and go don't pay if you experience this then my suggestion is just leave immediately cancelling the order. If not you will find out that he will give you food whatever he wants not the one you ordered.

While returning from Wat Chalong and on the way to Dolphin Bay my driver stopped here on my request for Indian Food. We ordered mix veg, dal, tawa roti , steam rice & chaans.

Mix veg had a smell of stale food - we upright pointed to owner. Tawa roti was pre-cooked and reheated. Dal was ok Rice serves was thai sticky rice. Only Chaans was good however price was 99 thb

At the time of billing they gave hand writted bill with VAT.

We pointed that we are not going to pay for stale mix veg and also my father in law got very angry as we had stopped there only because my 5 year old was feeling dizzy due to empty stomach thinking he can have Indian food.

Felt cheated after paying 1180 thb for such low quality and most importantly pathetic experience.

Someone only willing to risk their health should go there. The owner should be ashamed to serve stale food for 5 year old kid.
