You need to seriously work on your branch in Rawai. I am absolutely appalled with the Bakery! We have been regular customers since October last year and the quality keeps on degrading. It is a real pity because there were times when we did enjoy Flints. Let me list my points: Although most staff are friendly, I have had many miserable experiences with a particular employee there. No smile, greeting and no service! I've ordered breakfast and most times I have been given an OLD roll. Staff told me it was "fresh," even though it was hard and not edible. There were ants crawling all over the baked goods at the counter one time. I showed this to a staff member. She thanked me, brushed the ants off the baked goods and the food was still left out to be sold???? It's not freshly baked, therefore, not a real bakery and no different than going to Villa; actually Villa is better. They will sell you 3-4 day old baked goods. We have had stale croissants and peach danish on more than one occasion. I have seen the SAME ham/salami danish out at the front counter for 3 days! I have eaten an old danish that was just a mush inside. I had to throw it away. The goods are average. There are much better options in Rawai. They have opened/set up the bakery late. I came in as it "opened" and I was ignored by staff. They seemed angry that I walked in. I've saved the worst for last. I came in one morning and ordered breakfast. It came with bacon and a pork sausage. The waitress brought out my food. No kidding, as soon as she came through the door from the kitchen it smelt like something was rotting. As I tried to start eating my food the rotting smell got worse- I thought, there's no ways they would give me food smelling like this, it must be something else. I soon realised it was the meat on my breakfast plate. I tasted it to make sure I wasn't making a mistake. Absolutely disgusting and NOT edible! Needless to say, by this time (after many negative experiences)I paid and walked out. I didn't even bother to let them know. I mean that's not something that would go unnoticed. How could she not smell the meat was off? We will never go to...
