Tamarind Restaurant — Restaurant in Chalong

This was my first time ordering from Tamarind and I truly do not have any complaints (but now that I had a good experience I will order from there many more times in the near future and update as/if needed).

The food was hot, tasty, seemed fresh, acceptably packaged, and reasonably priced. There was a little mess as result of the delivery, but you have to expect that on the back of a motorbike traveling through comical Thai “roads.”

I will also dine in to get a feel for the sanitation and health procedures soon (even harder to come by in Thailand). I do not give 5* often, and perhaps they will lose a star (or two) with my next experience, but as of now Tamarind comes highly recommended.

I dined at Tamarind Restaurant in the Pullman Hotel tonight and would like to share my wonderful experience. From the beginning we were warmly taken care of by a gentleman who appeared to be a senior manager! He was exceptionally polite and generous. Our servers, including a lovely lady named Nan and another gentleman were also very courteous and attentive throughout the evening. The food was absolutely amazing and the live saxophone music perfectly complemented the cozy, dimly lit ambiance. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment and will definitely be recommending this...

Habe selten in meinem Leben so ein Katastrophales Restaurant-Erlebnis gehabt. Die Kellnerin hatte keinen Plan was sie macht und verstand kein Englisch. Wiederhohlt fragten wir ob sie uns verstanden hat und sie meinte Ja, natürlich. Nach etwa 15minutem kam sie und sagte das sie das der Salat denn wir bestellt haben aus ist. Das ist völlig ok, wir haben einen anderen Salat bestellt. Die Bolognaise von mir kam und sie hatte absolut garnichts mit einer Bolognaise zu tun und schmeckt nur nach Zucker. Mein Toast, war liebelos und trocken. Keine Sauce garnichts, der Käse war auch nicht geschmolzen. Nachdem wir alle unser Essen hatte bis auf meinen Vater, fragten wir nach wo seine Suppe und sein Hauptgang ist. Sie antwortete mit "Wir haben die Suppe und den Hauptgang nicht mehr in der Küche" eine absolute Frechheit! Vielleicht hättest du uns das beim bestellen bekannt geben söllen! So etwas habe ich nochnie erlebt. Dazu habe ich wirklich Verständnis da ich selber als Koch arbeite, und weiss wie die...
