I'm VERY conflicted, which is why I'm unfortunately leaving 3 stars.
My confliction comes from the price vs. What you actually get. You see, these are basically the same prices I pay in America, probably even more, for a lot less items. And the biggest problem is the PORTION SIZE. I'm paying American prices for such small portions.
Because this place is right next to where I live, I started coming here about 2 weeks ago and now been here maybe 4 times, hoping one of them I'll actually feel like the price is fair.
So far, easily the biggest offender of thos problem is the corned beef and eggs for 245 BAHT! this was SUCH a ripoff. I got maybe 1 or 2 eggs with TINY SPECS of beef. I mean no joke there must've been 1 gram of beef. And then, Jesus, this "Chicken Pot Pie" is a complete sham. Idk why I expected a real pot pies but this is just sole chicken soup in a bowl with one flat peice of crust placed on top 🥲
I believe the ingredients are good, and the food does actually TASTE great, but god, the portion control really is a problem when you look at...
Read moreMy husband has worked for 15 years in the US, so we thought we'd drop by for some American food. This place is well loved by Americans. When we visited for lunch on a weekday, there were 4 or 5 other tables, all American, and speaking very loudly in thick American accents. The menu is large and goes way beyond the junk food you find in many overseas American restaurants. The menu is quite witty too, and we found ourselves laughing while reading through it. I ordered pulled pork with coleslaw, potato salad and corn bread. The pulled pork sure was tasty. My husband had the pastrami omelette. He said it tasted good, but the pastrami is more fatty that what he's used to in the US. Portion sizes were generous. I couldn't finish my food, and my husband helped me with it. If you miss American food, or you want to try out American food, this is a good place to go to...
Read moreBeen awhile since we had American food and I must say this places served really good food.
Spoilt for choice given the size of the menu offerings , it was a tough call deciding what I wanted to eat.
Wife loves her spinach and went for her spinach lasagna but that was item 86 for the day so she went for the egg Florentine that had spinach instead.
I had the Kentucky styled pulled pork and my oh my was it a good choice. Everything was good on the plate from the cornbread to the coleslaw. Pulled pork was just nice , some places just drench the pork in sauce but this was good. Very filling and satisfying breakfast.
Very much looking forward to come back to try the other dishes especially the corned beef dishes.
Parking : parked further away but noticed there was parking space available shown...
