Hoklhong Cafe — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

If you’re looking for high-quality single-origin coffee, this is hands down the best place in Chiang Dao to enjoy it. They offer an amazing selection of beans from Northern Thailand and beyond, all brewed with real expertise. The barista is knowledgeable, speaks excellent English, and clearly loves what they do.

The café itself is beautiful — surrounded by a lush garden, right on the main road (easy to find), with clean toilets. Of course, we bought some coffee beans and local wild honey to take home ;) Prices are very reasonable, and the service and atmosphere are a solid 10/10.

We actually live in the area and have visited many of the well-known spots around Chiang Dao — we can confidently say this is the most serious and passionate coffee place in town. Highly recommended! (You'll find more unique places on our YouTube...

I've visited this coffee shop several times, and it’s one of my favorites.

The fact that they have their own coffee roaster sets them apart, ensuring their coffee beans are top-notch. The coffee is consistently excellent, and I particularly enjoy the flat white—it’s always perfectly made.

The owner and barista are incredibly friendly, and I’ve had the pleasure of trying various coffees for free, thanks to their generosity.

The ambiance is another highlight. The outdoor area is surrounded by trees, making it surprisingly cool even during the summer.

Such a cute cafe in Chiang Dao! Chiang Dao is already a magical place, but this cozy cafe made it even more wonderful with good coffee and great hospitality from the staff.

I ordered an Americano with orange juice… the taste was good and refreshing. After an hour's drive from Chiang Mai city, this cafe could be a great resting spot. I spent around 30 minutes there and actually wanted to stay longer. The place has both outdoor and indoor seating. I sat outside because the weather was great after the rain.

They also served free hot tea :) I will definitely come...
