Max Wine & Coffee on the Hill — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

I've been here a few times the past couple of years and I can easily say it's better every time. For one thing, it's bigger every time. Now they've added a restaurant area, 4 stories up. The mountain views are spectacular. They have their own parking area and stairs to access the coffee shop and restaurant. We came here for coffee and desserts following lunch at another place. My dessert was frozen yogurt with fruit, delicious. My lady got a beautiful plate of waffles with fruit. The service was excellent. The entire place is open air so be sure to enjoy it during nice weather. It is up on the side of a mountain so it's a little cooler than in Chiang Mai city. Great Cafe! Nice and peaceful location with really nice view. A lot of sitting types and areas. A really nice set up!

We only tried two drinks, a mocha frappe and blueberry smoothie. Both drinks, though a lil overpriced for Thai standards(185 baht for both), we're really good. This casual open air cafe has the best views from a cafe or restaurant in the area. You have to drive up a pretty steep road to get here and once you arrive you get to climb up to the fourth floor for food and drink.
