Mountainella Café — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

We all know this feeling, stranded, alone in some forgotten town high up in the mountains. Strawling around in the heat looking for bread. Then suddenly out of nowhere an oasis presents itself. Mountainella! First you are confused, you think to yourself Nutella?? No it's true! it's Mountainella!!!

Wandering inside you stumble upon the best bread you've ever ate. Sourdough, croissants, cheesecake with salty caramel!? can this be real? Am I in some kind of Hansel and Gretel movie?

Lovely, clean modern cafe in town with very inviting vibes (to come and chill or to get some online work done. Love the retro music they played the day we were there.

There’re plenty of seatings in different corers of the cafe.

A lot of details has gone into the interior decoration.

Staff are super friendly with lovely energy and smile and also helpful.

Decent menus for food and drinks and there’re many options for pastries (croissants, cheesecakes, pies, brownies and scones).

In fact we came here to buy assorted cakes for our friend’s birthday.

Yummy cake and decent coffee!

I think in Chaingdao, there are limited options for fresh coffee. Here they serve medium roast and some special beans. I kinda like their Americano over the Latte.

The bakery section is my favorite spot. There are many options from all over the world. I tried Tiramisu and it was good. The cheesecake was decent. The cookie was nice.

The atmosphere here is really chill and beautiful. The temperature was nice too. You can really escape the heat. You can always find your privacy spots.

They have a parking lot which is 50 M away...
