Food Wishes Ban Du — Restaurant in Chiang Rai Province

I wrote a 5 star review a year ago. This time 1 star.

Sat waiting to order for 5 mins when only customer. No big deal but not even an acknowledgement. Owner was serving a couple buying Deli items.

Why no other staff?

However when served by owner, she wore no mask!!! Laughed rudely when we asked her several questions about the menu. Were also not allowed to order alcohol till 5pm,which was in 10 mins time!

Rule number 1,treat all customers equally and secondly don't laugh at them. Will not return.

Food Wishes was a random choice for lunch, but it was amazing. As you enter, on your right is a deli counter that has sliced deli meat.

We've been in Thailand for almost 2 years, and we had almost given up on finding decent cured meat.

They make their own bread rolls, so I ordered a prosciutto roll with old Amsterdam cheddar, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and onion. My husband ordered nachos.

The menu had a lot of Mexican food choices on it.

I tell you, I almost cried while I was eating my roll. The flavours were so reminiscent of home.

The best place to eat in Thailand! The owners of the sisters are so nice, the chef makes every dish perfect and delicious and as accurate as possible! We arrived in the early morning and stayed to order more and more dishes and everything was delicious!! There is free internet and sockets at every table to work from the restaurant (which we will do later today). They bake the breads on site, prepare the cheeses themselves, the place is used as a deli, a Mexican restaurant, world cuisine, and everything is so delicious and accurate at prices for every pocket 😊 If there were more stars I would...
