Noon till night — Restaurant in Chiang Rai Province

Been curious about this unassuming looking eatery for months. Finally got a chance to visit. It's a cozy little place. We ordered a spaghetti and it was precisely cooked to al dente. Angus picanha steak had a perfect fat rendering and was flavorful. Duck confit had an excellent texture- the aroma of the herbs was so subtle. I sense that the overall cooking philosophy of the chef in every dish is to not overdo things. If you still have room, there are refreshingly vibrant gelatos to cleanse your palate after the rich meal. Note that they do not appear on the menu, but if you ask the owner nicely, you might get to have it :)

PS: My girlfriend wants me to say that the toilet is spotlessly clean. I didn't see it for myself so you have to take her...

I recently lunched here and was blown away by their creative flavors and high-quality ingredients. Three dishes stood out:

Duck Confit with Caramelized Peaches – Perfectly crispy skin, tender meat, and the sweet peaches added a luxurious twist. French cuisine at its finest!

Crispy Squid Calamari – Light, golden batter with tender squid inside, paired with a zesty garlic aioli. One of the best I’ve had!

Creamy Miso Mushroom Spaghetti – A genius fusion of Italian and Japanese flavors. Rich, umami, and utterly addictive.

This is a fantastic restaurant with excellent and friendly service. The menu is limited but everything we had was excellently prepared and presented. It was so good on the first night that we had to visit again on the second evening of a two evening stay in Chiang Rai. Can particularly recommend the sea bass and spaghetti with shrimp dishes, both of which were great.
