This seems to be a very popular spot for local Thai's, I came here with the expectation that I would find very authentic cuisine, the service was good location obscure and out of the way, and I swear to God in 2025 this establishment does not keep customers safe from rain, when you run into a downpour the water seeps through the ceiling and splashes all over the food it's just not my idea about a good dining experience they have got to do better on that. Now since the owner responded in a negative way, it's clear they do not understand constructive criticism and why Google has a review system. The problem with rainwater coming down through the roof taking pollution, toxin, and God knows what into your food, that becomes a health and food safety issue not preference. In most all developed Nations, and advanced economies, their health department will never allow this to happen. + no air conditioning come on. Now on to the food, food was okay priced reasonably, but the taste some were good some weren't the pad thai was not the greatest the ingredients were fresh, the famous red curry clam, I thought was okay the clams were really fresh but the taste well was just all right. All in all an average experience would I go again probably not. Now in response to the owner, He's taking this review personally, and I guess to some degree I understand that but getting defensive isn't the solution, what you need to do is objectively examine the feedback customers are providing, and how this business can better serve its community, and not just his own personal interest. Google serves a global community, and it allows sharing of opinions and market self-correction, when businesses don't perform up to standards. It is meant to spread and exchange cultural and culinary excellence to global citizens, it is not a private profiteering Enterprise just to benefit you and feed your ego. Anyone, any organization that cannot take constructive criticism has already peaked in life, and it's only...
Read moreThis was one of the worst Thai food experience. We have waited for our food for over an hour. I’m pregnant and I was very hungry, we had to rush them with the food twice. No one warns you that it will be that long, if we knew we would go to another place. Forget the food, my husband has waited 20min for his beer and my smoothie took about 30mins. Water came fast, just 10 mins. The waiting time is ridiculous and that’s with the case that we didn’t wait for a table and booked in advance.
Also it wasn’t that busy, no queues lining up, as you can see not even all the table were taken when we ordered.
Food is nothing special. Out of 6 dishes I liked one, which is barracuda larb. We came here for specifically barracuda order, but they didn’t really have any other dishes available except larb. The omelette was terrible, the worst I’ve ever eaten, others were okay. After one hour wait for Thai food (which is the fastest cooked food ever) I expect it to be heavenly good and not below average.
Prices aren’t worth it. Stuff is all over the place, difficult to call.
The restaurant is pretty though and they have...
Read moreThe food was excellent, beer ice-cold (albeit the Hofbräu was VERY expensive with almost 400 Baht for a litre) everything else was a catastrophe. Booked a table for eight, incl. two children, at 6.50pm and arrived spot on time. The menu handed out was too disgusting, torn, stained and dirty so we placed the order based on what we had in mind. The fried chicken wings for the children were reported as "not available" one solid hour after ordering and replaced by us with breaded pork slices. The first dish (standard food without special changes, amendments etc.) came 95 minutes after ordering. The rice was cold and served on enamel plates (to speed up cooling?). The cooked dishes as such were excellent (Hor Mok Insee in coconut). What this place needs is proper staff training, mise en place in the kitchen and new menu cards. And, if you are at it, fix the gentlemen's roof in the toilet; the visitors to the pissoir were completely soaked. Would come again but much earlier, provided the (completely full) restaurant will survive its present...
