This place was randomly selected while searching google maps for a cafe. At first, I wasn’t sure on where to go as I drove towards the location as the road ends with a barrier gate. Only later realized that the parking space is earlier at the same road, and then walking downhill few meters to arrive at the entrance which is beautifully designed and decorated in an antique style. Signboards (in English) are nicely placed around to provide information and directions. The place itself is quite large and divided mainly into two parts, one being the restaurant and the other is the coffee shop. Both sections are accessible and have multiple seating options and are scattered throughout the area. Lovely scenery of the sea and the distant mountains beyond. Nice music is played on speakers with a controlled sound level to enjoy listening, and to be able to communicate with others without raising your voice. The Cappuccino was fantastic, and so was the Chocolate cake and the Coconut cake too. Will definitely...
Read moreThis place was a major disappointment. When we got there, we were placed at a table which was covered in ants. We then moved to a table next to it which was very small. We ordered four main courses, two dishes of rice with soda drinks and glasses of water. There wasn't enough room on this small table for everything we ordered. We asked to move to larger table prior to main courses coming but we were told by staff that we couldn't do this (even though there were lots of empty tables). It was after the main courses were served and we had started eating that they asked us if we would like to move tables but at this point it was too late. The drink service is also self-service. I walked up and collected our drinks whilst two members of staff stood and did nothing. The food was average, nothing special. The food menu was only in Thai. There are many really nice places in the area. Don't waste your time and money on this...
Read moreNice sunset view. Relaxing atmosphere. But the service was atrocious. We had to write out our own order and take our order to the counter and go to the counter every time we wanted attention from the wait staff or to pay the bill. The food was tasty but I did get a little bit of diarrhea so not sure it was as fresh as it could have been. We ordered a small plate of fried rice and were told that they aren’t serving that dish now but we could order a large plate of fried rice. I didn’t quite understand that one. Really there are a lot of restaurants in this area and many have a nice view. I would advise to give this place a pass. Restaurant has two sides so maybe the other side was better. I guess...
