KOBB & CO. — Restaurant in Chon Buri Province

Based on the Ad on FB featuring new Steak Items, me and my better half decided to try the new Menu items! Being used to seeing good reviews about this restaurant, we expected high quality food and service! Unfortunately that turned out to be not the case! We ordered Ribeye ( Medium Rare ) and Surf N Turf ( Medium) directly from the Chef who actually took our order. We got the Ribeye ( Rare ) and Surf N Turf ( Medium Rare) despite very clear instructions to the Chef and the Server! It took 30 minutes to bring the ordered food ( 2 other patrons visible in the restaurant) and the quality clearly did not warrant the prices charged on top of inability to get steaks done properly as requested! I certainly can’t speak about the other items on the Menu ( it was our first visit ) but I would stay away from these new steak items ! We are blessed with great Steakhouses in Pattaya like Patrick’s, The Bull and certainly this place is not even close! The staff does speak good English and that’s a plus! After I complained to the Owner via Line ( while in a restaurant) , I was offered to get steaks redone ! We did not want to wait another 30 minutes for the Steaks to be redone! Offering no discount or some other sort of compensation ( as all places do when a paying customer is upset ) is indicative of a ownership not very concerned with repeat customers! But than again, to each there own! P.s. After this review posted, Management offered for me and my Wife to come back for the free meals which we certainly will do! Hopefully it will be a positive and enjoyable...

First time here as have seen it advertised on Facebook and I like to support new businesses.

Very friendly owners and service staff; and spotlessly clean and minimalist my kind of place.

When I heard the tomato soup was homemade I had to try it and it was good; a chunkier consistency served with croutons and bread which I passed on as I'm trying to eat cleanly right now.

I then had the tuna salad which was perfectly pleasant but lacked a little colour (mainly leafy green salad). Since the owners were on hand I made some suggestions and they were incredibly receptive and keen to improve their offering. Nothing wrong with it just would have liked to see more variety and colours in the bowl.

To finish I had to try the coffee and it was really good and well Balanced from Chiang Mai I believe.

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will definitely come back with the other half so she can sample the Thai food.
