La Cremerie Pattaya — Restaurant in Chon Buri Province

March 2025, NO LONGER DESERVES 5 stars! Quality has gone downward, even though it is still the closest to authentic panini in Pattaya. Before same panini in the Courtyard store are half emptied with meat and etc compared to the panini from the main one, even after I paid extra 50 bahts for cheese, ham etc., totally 300-400 more bahts extra charges. But now even the main store is no good! Today, I ordered 1 Caesar sandwich, 3 panini, all 4 sandwiches I paid 50 bahts per item for extra for cheese and ham but none of them had the extra items I paid inside! All those charges are clearly printed on the receipt, extra money taken but no extra cheese/ham inside the sandwiches! In fact, the Caesar sandwich had ZERO cheese slice in it, not even the cheese that supposed to be included in the price come with it, let alone EXTRA cheese I paid 50 bahts for ! This WAS the best and most authentic panini in Pattaya. Ice cream/gelato are good too, very nice European flavors made real excellent quality dark chocolate and real fruits., not the current super unhealthy everything overly sweet Thai trend! Just tried their chicken ratatouille, another excellent value for about 300 baht. Unlike many other Western restaurants, the portion is generous enough that I don't have to order multiple dishes...

Beautiful bakery also serving a wide variety of sandwiches, pastas, etc. We tried a few things.... Parma panini: very good, huge size, a bit too much cheese for me and the addition of tomato sauce was odd, I would prefer to taste the Parma more clearly (that's the expensive part you pay for). Croque monsieur bolognese: massive size, a bit too much actually, as it's mostly bread, and just plain tasting white bread. This one was also served with a massive amount of cheese, but i liked the blend. There was a sharp tasting cheese in the mix. I did not like the bolognese sauce. It was super sweet. I wouldn't recommend this item. Tomato soup. Pure tomato, no cream. I loved it. And it came served with these absolutely perfect bread rolls. Croissant was very good. But it wasn't served warm. We had to send it back and request they heat it up. Chocolate chip cookie. Among the best I've ever had.

Prices are fine for the portion. Actually, I'd say they're a great value compared to what we pay in Bangkok for much less. Service was lackluster. I'll be back to try more on...

Garbage service by garbage staff with a garbage menu.

I don't know what problem the owner had, but he never has the same staff, therefore no one is ever trained on how to be a decent server in Thailand.

Also, I have been in multiple times asking for a panini, and its never in. Why have a menu that weighs like a brick and would kill a person if thrown at them if nothing on it is ever in stock?

Fix your staffing issue and keep good staff. If the manager is too much of a jerk to either pay them or respect them enough to keep them around then maybe he is the problem; not the dozen employees who've clearly had enough and left.

This place is the definition of wasted potential. Sloppy management, nonexistent consistency, and a kitchen that promises more than it ever delivers. If you can't deliver what's on your menu, shrink the menu. If you can't keep staff, stop blaming them and look in the mirror.

Until then, I won’t be back; and I’ll be telling everyone I know to avoid...
