อร่อยเข้มข้น รสชาติแบบใต้แท้ๆไม่รสเมือง ไม่หวานนำ เหมือนร้านใต้อื่นที่ปรับรสชาติให้เข้ากับคนกรุง รสชาติร้านนี้จะเผ็ดนำเค็มตาม กลมกล่อม จัดจ้าน เผ็ดร้อนติดลิ้นจนเหงื่อหัวแตกหมด

เมนู “แกงส้มหน่อไม้ดอง” ตัวแกงส้มรสชาติเข้มข้นและเผ็ดมาก ไม่เหมาะกับคนไม่กินเผ็ด แต่สำหรับคนกินเผ็ด ก็ยังซี๊ดซ๊าดปาดเหงื่อ กินไปสักพัก ตักได้แต่หน่อไม้ เพราะซดน้ำไม่ไหวแล้ว เผ็ดจนเปลืองข้าว

เมนูที่ประทับใจคือ “คั่วกลิ้งเนื้อ” รสชาติอร่อยมากกกกก ชอบที่อันนี้ติดหวานนิดหน่อย เผ็ดแบบยังพอกินได้ ไม่ได้เผ็ดมากจนร้อนหูและร้อนจนปากเจ่อ แต่กระชายเยอะ เขี่ยออกเหนื่อยไปหน่อย

“ใบเหลียงผัดไข่” อร่อยมากมากๆๆๆๆๆๆ ตัวผักใบเหลียงอ่อน ไม่แก่เลย แล้วผัดกับไข่มาให้ในปริมาณที่สะใจมาก ร้านนี้จะผัดพร้อมกับกุ้ง แต่ขอให้เค้าแยกมา ตัวกุ้งก็คืออร่อยกรอบมาก เป็นจานที่ช่วยตัดรสเผ็ดได้ดี

นอกจากเมนูทั้งหมดที่แนะนำแล้ว เมนูอื่นๆที่สั่งมากินก็คืออร่อยมาก เรียกได้ว่าอร่อยทุกจานที่สั่งมาเลย แถมทางร้านยังมีชุดน้ำพริกกะปิผักสดให้ด้วย น้ำพริกกะปิก็รสชาติดีมาก เผ็ด เปรี้ยว หวาน หอมกลิ่นมะนาวมาก

แต่เมนูที่เป็นนางกวักให้อยากไปกินร้านนี้ก็คือ “โอ้วเอ๋ว” กินแล้วสดชื่นมาก ความหวานความเย็นช่วยบรรเทาความเผ็ดได้ดีมาก ร้านให้วุ้นโอ้วเอ๋ว มา2ชิ้นใหญ่ๆเลย
