I tried the Thai-style sashimi here, as it's currently popular on social media. Many YouTubers have given this place rave reviews over the past two to three months.

Having tried it myself, I found that the fresh raw fish from the Thai sea has a distinctively firm texture, more so than imported raw fish. The taste is also unique, elevating the way fish is eaten in Thailand. Personally, I find the seafood dipping sauce to be average, but what I liked the most was the spicy beef shank soup. It's made in a Japanese style but with a spicy and sour Thai twist, creating a rich flavor unlike any other spicy soup I've had before.

I'll definitely come back to try other dishes. The place is quite popular right now, so it's always crowded. I recommend coming during midday on weekdays to avoid long queues, as weekends are busier. They don't take reservations, and parking is available in the gym parking area, but it's...

Ayoi Sushi Tengoku: A Seafood Lover's Paradise Ayoi Sushi Tengoku delivers an unforgettable sushi experience, starting with their incredibly fresh fish that rivals the best in Thailand. Their commitment to quality is evident in their "spacial of the day" fish cart, featuring unique offerings like bluefin tuna eyeballs (steamed to perfection in soy sauce) and tender tuna bone with leftover meat, specially prepared by the chef. Don't miss their Thai-style fish sashimi, a testament to the freshness and quality of their seafood. Beyond sushi, the grilled beef tongue and beef oil truffle fried rice are equally delicious. Service is attentive and the value is excellent. If you're looking for an unforgettable sushi experience, Ayoi Sushi Tengoku...

I dont like sashimi (both fish & squid) served at room temperature. They felt unfresh to me. Even they were on ice, but many of them were not chilled.

Service was relatively ok but very SLOW. Like the squid as in the pic took more than 20 mins. I finished the whole fish sashimi and it still didnt come.

Atmosphere was nothing special.

Ramen served was a small bowl than usual. Smallest bowl I ever experienced for ramen. It was delicious though. It was 115++ baht so you will need to consider the price after adding 17.7% at 135 baht per that small bowl. Too pricey in my opinion.

All in all, good food but nothing stand out. Will I come back? Maybe personally not. But I would probably still suggest people to try Thai fish...

Ayoi Sushi in Bangkok is an impressive spot for sashimi lovers, especially known for its Thai sashimi set featuring 12 varieties of local fish. The 500-gram portion costs just 650 THB, offering excellent value for the freshness and quality. The fish, sourced from the Andaman Sea, is incredibly fresh with a sweet, delicate texture that melts in your mouth. Beautifully plated, the sashimi is not only delicious but also Instagram-worthy. A standout pairing with the sashimi is the rich truffle ice cream and comforting nabe hotpot—an unexpected but delightful combination that enhances the overall experience. Prices are friendly, and the relaxed, welcoming vibe makes it perfect for a casual lunch or dinner without the need for reservations.
