One of the Buffets Worth Trying 💕 Great Value for Beef & Foie Gras Lovers 💕
I came here mainly for the beef and foie gras, which never disappoint. I’ve tried this buffet before at a different branch, and I’m happy to say the food quality at this location is just as good, fresh ingredients, quick service, and a wide variety to choose from.
This time, I went for the Platinum Package (899++), which is the minimum tier that includes foie gras. With this package, you can enjoy both Suki and Shabu. I forgot to take a photo of the Shabu, unfortunately!
The foie gras was a real highlight, juicy, rich, and cooked just right to bring out its full flavor. I loved it so much I ordered it multiple times throughout the meal.
My friends and I actually ordered quite a lot of beef, but in the moment of enjoying everything, I forgot to take photos of most of it, same with many other dishes we tried.
Here are a few highlights I did remember: The sushi was served in just the right portion. The sashimi was fresh and nicely cut. The oysters were fresh, though a bit thin and not as juicy as I’d prefer. The fried soft-shell crab was a little salty and came in a bigger portion than expected, I ordered it while waiting for dessert and it's portion was quite shocked me😂. Desserts were excellent. The Bingsu had an ice texture like fine snow, packed with flavor. And of course, the Häagen-Dazs ice cream was a treat, as always.
Travel Tip: I almost got lost because my GPS kept changing the route! The safest way to get there is to drive straight along Sukhumvit Road and turn left after Sukhumvit 107.
Since this restaurant is located inside a mall, there’s plenty of parking, but don’t forget to get your ticket stamped for...
Read moreWe usually have Sloth Sukiyaki at the True 101 branch, but given that they are currently under renovation we drove to their Jas Urban branch instead. Quality and service-wise it’s more or less the same as their True 101 branch.
Great selection of meats, vegetables, broth, sushi, and desserts. A visit to Sloth Sukiyaki always leaves us feeling really really full! As it is an all you can eat shabu/sukiyaki buffet, we ordered the 845++ platinum buffet, which included Wagyu beef as well as sushi rolls. The beef quality was good, although presentation-wise it was very normal. The sushi was also good for the all you can eat price, with a nice variety so that you won’t get too bored. It was nice that we could select two different broths, we tried the Mala and the Shark Fin soup. Dessert was also nice as there was all you can eat HaagenDaz ice cream, as well as a really enjoyable...
Read moreMy family likes shabu and beef here is great even if the facility is always completely clean. We used to come here often because there was a la carte menu, so we didn't feel obligated to stuff ourselves to make up for the buffet price. However, they have disappointed us lately. First, they refused to serve us because the a la carte menu wasn't updated from latest renovation. Later, they refused to serve a la carte option on weekends. It's such a shame to lose another...
