ME - Kitchen and bar — Restaurant in Kanchanaburi Province

I just had a very relaxing evening solo dining at the ME kitchen. I appreciated it for not being bustling with tourists or staff who are jaded from cranking through one customer after another. The place is a bit out of the way, and is set among trees while looking out at a placid stretch of the river. I ate outside by myself, while inside, in air conditioning, there were several other relaxed parties. Outside it was warm, but they set up a fan for me and it was quite comfortable. The music was soothing and not loud. Outside there is a type of seating where you dangle your legs over a ground level wall, just over the river, with a dining table to keep you from going in. The menu was genuinely impressive with many choices, and seemed both inventive and authentic. I took a simple option for a pizza, and was not disappointed, but there were many Thai-based and/or fusion options that looked great. This place is a fantastic find! ME Kitchen & Bar isn't the easiest to spot, but it's a hidden treasure right on the river with a beautiful view. The atmosphere is casual and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening with friends or family.

The staff at ME Kitchen & Bar are the stars of the show. They're incredibly friendly and helpful, taking the time to recommend dishes and chat with you. They even went above and beyond, making a delicious Margherita pizza that wasn't on the menu at our request!

Speaking of the food, it's absolutely delicious! The menu offers a variety of options to suit all tastes. We shared several small plates, all bursting with flavor.

A very nice and idyllically located restaurant right on the well-known river, with ample parking. A bit hidden and located at the end of a narrowing street but don't worry you will find it. You can comfortably choose between seats outside in the shade in the evening sun or indoors with air conditioning. The staff is fast and friendly, the choice of food is varied and documented with very good photo, the drinks and the food were delicious.

The prices may seem a bit high at first, but the quality and quantity definitely make up for the price you have to try. The price-performance ratio is right here ❣️ A very idyllic place with peace and relaxation.
