100% no when it comes to customer service that happened more than once by several people working here including the owner.
Being polite with Grab drivers and other customers sitting around waiting on sandwich orders. I decided to sit outside for a few until most of the customers has been served.
As I'm always on my phone running an online business I stayed calm and out of politeness just sat outside waiting. Right?
The owner came outside letting the others wait and asked with a very short irritating voice "What do you want"
Thinking by myself: Yo that was a bit rude.!
I responded politely saying: I will come inside and order once most of the customers left.
He looked inside and replied: Well most people left already
Still having customers standing in-line.
I decided to go inside the Cap's shop and asked:
Excuse me for asking but is there a problem.
The owner responded: yes, You can not sit at my tables with out ordering.
Now with all due respect why would I drive all the way from Central Festival Shopping Centre just to come and sit at one of your tables on the other side of Kathu responding to inquiries on my phone? Central got loads of restaurants and Sandwich shops.
I responded In a calm and polite manner that in that case I would rather leave now as no one has ever spoken to me like that in such a bad manner.
I was shown the door by the owner. I thanked him and explained that I'd rather go to Zurich Bakery.
Even though the sandwiches & paninis might be good. Recommended by a very good friend that's been living on the Phuket island for years Cap's won't see me again.
Sorry to say but please remember in the restaurant business anyone can walk I to your restaurant at any given time.
Just to be clear: Please take necessary action with better staff training and a better more positive mindset towards any possible customer that arrives at your venue.

Read moreUnfortunately, I find it necessary to leave a negative review, which is not something I take lightly, as evidenced by my previous mostly 5-star reviews. Additionally, having lived in Thailand since 1994, I am accustomed to a certain standard of service. While encountering challenges such as limited English proficiency among staff and extended wait times between serving dishes is not uncommon, it typically does not trigger me to leave a negative review. I normally go with flow.
However, our experience at Cap's today was exceptionally poor. Upon entering, we were entirely ignored; no one greeted us or even made eye contact. A woman busied herself cleaning other tables, for some reason creating as much noise as possible without acknowledging us. A simple "I'll be with you shortly" would have sufficed.
Eventually, another staff member glanced in our direction from behind the counter, but also made no effort to communicate. After an extended period of being ignored, we chose to leave. This visit to Cap's was our first and our last. Thank you...
Read moreOrdered my Lunch today from Cap's Foods, as I saw a Facebook post from them about sanwiches I used to eat, when I was in Europe. I ordered throughout Grab, from Dowrung, Wichit knowing It might take some time comming from Kathu... I passed my order at 11:17 and my order arrived at 12 noon exactly... So the timing was perfect. I ordered a Belgian Tartar (americain) Sandwich and a ham Cheese (smos) Sandwich. At the first bit the bread crunshed nicely on the outside and soft on the inside, the taste of the Tartar was exactly how I imagined it to be, great seasoning and taste. For the Ham cheese they used real Paris ham and Emmenthal cheese. In a nutshell, I had a great lunch with quality products and delivered in less than an hour! I can't hardly wait to try out more of their quite large selection. I recommend Cap's...
