Coconut Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Ko Kaeo

We stayed at the barcelo resort on coconut island and luckily found this little gem on the second day and then we couldn’t keep away! I need to firstly start with the people who live and work here, they are the most friendliest heart warming genuine people you will ever meet, all so happy chilled and welcoming and lots of fun! They made a special effort with my sons who are 4 and 7… they took time to play with them and keep them entertained and they genuinely enjoyed spending time with our children, and has lots of laughs with us too, my son loved bard (not sure if that’s how you spell his name) and I especially loved Sara who gave me lots of amazing massages for an amazing price.. she even gave me a gift on our last day which choked me up, such a lovely kind funny lady who I miss already! Now for the food… THE best we had in Thailand that’s why we hardly ate in the hotel at all this place was much much better (and cheaper) just delicious out of this world cooking! Cooked fresh and the effort in presentation was 5*+ the food, the setting, the vibes, the music (played by the fab bar guys) and the people… Will definitely be returning to Phuket just to visit this place and the people again, they made our holiday...

This was maybe my most memorable night from staying on the island and a large part of it was our meal/experience at coconut seafood.

Location Right on the beach! You can hear the waves and some tables are positioned on the sand which was a beautiful touch.

Staff The happiest and friendliest people you could meet. They were so accommodating and you could tell they loved working together which was lovely to see.

The restaurant is so quirky! They've done a great job at making adjustments. For instance, we dined here when it decided to down pour with rain. The staff quickly sheltered us with their homemade rain protectors which protects the whole restaurant from rain. Added to the whole experience with the warmth inside and the weather outside.

Coconut Seafood Restaurant is, without a doubt, the best Thai food experience I’ve had in all of Thailand. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with such warmth and kindness—it felt like coming home.

The food? Absolutely incredible. Every dish was bursting with flavour, perfectly balanced, and made with love. Not only did I get to taste some of the most delicious seafood and Thai cuisine, but I was also invited to step into the kitchen and learn how to cook it myself. That experience was unforgettable.

The people at Coconut Seafood Restaurant made this more than just a meal—it was a memory. Their hospitality, generosity, and passion for what they do truly set this place apart.
