I wanted to give a better review as the staff were lovely, the view amazing and the food tasted great too. Sadly they gave my wife and I food poisoning. We know it was here as it was only place where we shared a dish, plus my wife being on a diet had only eaten one of those food replacement bars that days. I had only had some jam on croissants in the morning, so we are sure I'm sorry to say. The dish we shared was the Pad Thai and was only luke warm unlike the fried shrimp cakes that were freshly cooked. I'd suggest only ordering food that is freshly cooked from any restaurant you visit. To the owners - poor food and personal hygiene can actually kill and doesn't always just make you ill. My wife runs food hygiene courses in the UK and has recommended that your staff attend a course local to you. Simple steps such as always washing hands thoroughly with hot water and soap before handling any food, eating utensils and plates will stop most cases of food poisoning. Also cooking from fresh every time and not reheating food will help too. Certain foods must be heated to specific temperatures for a specific amount of time to be deemed safe. You can help put an end to food poisoning in your country. Thank you for...

We dropped by whilst having a ride on our scooter and I’m so grateful we did! Not only were the views amazing but also the food was out of this world, I had the tuna sandwich - and as simple as it may be this was the best tuna sandwich I’ve ever had, I don’t think I’ll be able to have tuna the same again:) My partner had the massaman curry and it was also unbelievable, full of flavour plus the organic rice was a nice touch. The service we received was amazing, we got told every fine detail of our meals and our drinks too which is such a change to anywhere we’ve been in a very long time, the passion for food, the earth and everything in the restaurant is out of this world. Everything down to the water we got (which is filtered I think he said 5 times) was spectacular, I would honestly recommend this place to anyone in the area - I am so sad that I’m not local because this would be my...

We were drawn here by the excellent reviews on Google maps, but ended up disappointed.

The view is nice (though not as nice as Sunshine just down the road), and the owner was indeed very friendly and welcoming.

However, the banana yogurt shake I got (the only thing we ordered) had some hard mystery items in it... I felt some small pieces come up through my straw and luckily caught them in my mouth, then there were bigger ones at the bottom. I still don't know what they were but they were certainly not banana, or yogurt, or edible.

Lastly, the place needed some upkeep - you could see mildew all over from the moisture, and the paint looked old. And there surprisingly few fans compared to other places. We were too hot so we ended up taking the shake away to...

Great place, great owner! When you first walk in you are stunned by the amazing panoramic sea view. The menu looks simple but the food is delicious. They are very conscious about their food. Fish is caught locally, herbs are grown in their garden partially and their coffee comes from their own plantation in chiang mai. The greatest surprise was that they used brown rice instead if white. One of the few 'normal' restaurants I've seen in thailand where they get that brown rice is much healthier and much more satisfying then the ever used white rice. I hope more places will follow this idea. They also raise awareness about the plastic waste in the sea and aim to reduce the use of plastic. Recommended to go here. It's definitely worth the ride!

I can't rave more about this gem on Lanta. Every single aspect was perfect - the service was impeccable and so warm and sincere. The owner took the time to welcome us, explain the origins of his coffee, his passion for sustainability and shared how his team priorities hygiene even in the cleansing of the metal straws used. The food was standout from the plating to the taste - we had the mango sticky rice, French toast and American breakfast. All hit the mark. They even had a cute little dumbwaiter to transport the food from the kitchen to the dining area. The view of the sea was stunning. The bathroom was spotless. Officially our favourite spot after spending 4 days in Lanta. Love, love, loved it. Thank you so much!
