This is my favorite restaurant on Koh Yao Noi! We stumbled upon Anchor Point by chance during our first day on island paradise, and loved it so much we came back every day thereafter. Thereâs so much much awesome in this small place, itâs hard to know where to start! As a vegan who sometimes gets stuck eating fried rice for three meals a day, I was incredibly grateful for the falafel wrap - it quickly became my go-to lunch. Another fave: the option to take your tastebuds on an adventure with the ever-changing âweirdâ fruit plate - equal parts deliciously familiar and truly new and exotic! Everything we ate was scrumptious, and all made fresh and by hand. The food is the main event, but youâll linger over the details, such as the hand-painted welcome sign (the chef is also an artist!), cornucopias of fragrant fruit, and views of local pier traffic coming and going. But perhaps the best part is spending time with Natty. It seems like all of her customers are seamlessly converted to friends over the course of a meal.    Read moreThe guac, oh the guac! 𤊠their guacamole is actually better than the ones I've had in Mexico! Their slow cooked beef stew feels like Mom's home-cooked, feel-good food.
If you like fresh seafood, then you found the right place, and probably one of the only places to use real butter in their food.
Their hummus is also something I highly recommend! And their mango lasse, their flavorful green salad, all their wraps, and don't get me started on their desserts đ I can't say enough good things about their food â¤ď¸
Besides the food, they also have natural soaps, natural exfoliantes, and so much more. You'll find those things displayed on shelves, along with some other items.
You can find them across from the Tha Khao Pier, and a 2min drive from the Tha...
Read moreI spent a fantastic week on Koh Yau Noi over New Year. Despite the numerous restaurants and bars serving food on the island, I kept coming back to Anchor Point, particularly for breakfast. They have a superb menu with a nice range of non-Thai food: burritos, fajitas, falafel, hummus, vegetarian and vegan dishes, all freshly prepared and cooked, and fresh coffee, all very reasonably priced. The owner is very friendly and efficient, and speaks perfect English. The restaurant itself is cosy with nice decor and lighting, and it's in a great location - just by the pier so the view is outstanding. Highly...
