We have eaten in several restaurants during our stay in Koh Jum and this was my favorite. The restaurant was completely full so the service was a little bit slow so best to just relax, have a drink and wait for what will be excellent food. I had chicken satay which was juicy and so flavorsome, the satay sauce was as good as you'll get. Tempura prawns, same story as the chicken satay, both really well cooked. I followed with green curry with shrimp, again fantastic green curry sauce with fresh perfectly cooked vegetables. Overall, for me, the best meal I've had on Koh Jum. And lastly, I can't believe how good value; 119baht for a green curry,139 baht for a penang. Cheaper than other restaurants around and in really good surroundings. Well done to...

We didn’t fuss as we did eat them and probably should’ve asked before doing so. A brighter note was the free watermelon slices served after our meal - delicious! Lovely ambiance and good food but do watch out for unexpected extras. Otherwise,...

Also, i think i have permanent brain damage now from listening to the same 2 elton john songs in a loop for 2h straight. Additionally, they were out of mangos and coconuts which is quite a bummer for a thai restaurant.
That being said, i refrained from giving only 4 stars because this is probably the best food we had on this island. Very authentic, penang curry with just the right amount of caffir lime leaves, prawns on point, and quite ok spring rolls which is...
