Mr Boy Cafe​ — Restaurant in Krabi Province

SCAM! This owner just scamed us and let us pay for squid fishing at his place even he knew it was totally not the right time an place to fish any squid. Even he did not catch any because it was just not possible. But instead of being honest and transparent about it he just let us pay for nothing. He didn’t even care. He gave us an instruction for 3 min and then left us alone the whole time. He did not even offer free drinks or anything. I mean he made 250 baht per person for giving us a 3 min introduction and that’s it. This is really the worst fishing experience he gave us. Really not honest an not trustful men. He just wants to make money out of tourists. Next time maybe be fair and let them pay less if you know it’s not a good time to do squid fishing or offer them some free...

Amazing atmosphere cafe, run by Mr.boy, who lives in KohJum for the last 20 years and more or less built the place years ago. Good vibes great food. Some dishes are real cheap, some of the fish dishes more expensive. The kne we had was delicious. Mr boy said sometimes one can spot dolphins swimming nearby! He also offers a guesthouse.
