Oh dear! I did NOT expect a little gem of a restaurant so authentic, with such delicious food at such a good price on our first night in Krabi... Thanks to the recommendation from our Airbnb host, we rushed to this place before its closing time. The outdoor seating area is perhaps a little rustic, but every bit of decoration is designed with attention to detail - little coconut flower baskets, little wind chimes, and their own little herb garden at the front of the house. The staff were very warm and friendly. We ordered summer rolls to start, massaman curry with roti, yellow noodles with prawns, sea bass steamed with ginger, green curry, stir fried bean sprouts, and finished with mango with sticky rice (of course). Every single dish I tried was absolutely spot on! The summer rolls were fresh and herby and refreshing, a great start to the meal. The massaman curry with tofu I had was very nicely flavoured (I wish it was spicier) and the roti was every bit light and crispy and flakey which also melts in your mouth. The fish was nicely flavoured and the ginger wasn't too overpowering. And finally the mango with sticky rice is, well, exactly what you'd expect from a good mango and sticky rice pudding, with mango, rice and coconut flavours in perfect harmony (rice also nicely seasoned with a touch of salt which was great). An amazing meal. We all loved it (Chinese and British backgrounds with very different levels of exposure to Thai food). I know where I want to have my dinners for the rest of my stay in Krabi... EDIT: so we went back a few more times during our time in Krabi. Every time just as good. The staff are so lovely too. So sad we are not in Krabi any more.

First of all, the food here is DELICIOUS. We have already been twice and will certainly go again. Our favorites so far have been the Massaman Curry with Roti and the Fried Fish with Tamarind sauce! The service is also brilliant. The co-owners are genuinely friendly, helpful, and exude kindness. I wish them so much success because they work very hard to provide a great experience for their customers. On that note, they are also feeding street animals on a daily basis and one of the owners has already rescued 13 cats from the streets. Since there aren't any animal welfare organizations or shelters in Krabi, she pays full price for the extensive vet services that these poor babies require. At the time of this review, she has 2 six-week-old kittens she is nursing back to health after she found them dumped along with their sibling, who sadly was too sick to survive despite the help. They have a couple donation boxes where you can give money to support the daily feedings. Every bit counts! Anyway, they are open for a late lunch or dinner. You won't regret stopping by!

Guys you can't miss this AWESOME place, literally the most authentic and delicious Thai restaurant in Ao Nang, surrounded by lush plants and run by a wonderful person who saves and feeds stray cats and dogs. She brought tears to my eyes, such a beautiful example of a human being... I felt better than at home. I was met on the door with "do you want the kitten?" and her placing into my hands a 1 month-old ball of fur and sweetness, which was immediately and thoroughly petted and fed for 3 hours 🥹 Plus, food is perfection and there are many carnivore, vegetarian and vegan options. I had a fantastic coconut shake and a tofu curry with roti. I swear everything was so good, so fresh and juicy. I stayed long after dinner just to pet the cats and talk with the owner about the critical situation of animals in Thailand. Please pay this place a visit, especially if you are an animal lover. You won't regret it.

Tucked away down a narrow road is one of the loveliest little Thai restaurants you could ever hope to find. To start things off, the ambiance here is comfortable, lush, and relaxed. The staff, well, they can make or break a place regardless of the food, and these ladies are incredible! Warm, friendly, open to have a chat, share stories, make recommendations of places to visit locally and throughout Thailand (we went to Koh Lanta on their suggestion and weren't disappointed), they really do everything you could want to make you feel welcome. Now for the food...some of the best food we've had in our month visit to Thailand. I won't bore you with what we had specifically, but know these women take pride in the food they serve and it shows. You may even get a fresh passion fruit from their garden after your meal (pro tip they taught us, sprinkle a touch of salt on it. So good!) A big ขอบคุณ ครับ (Khawp khun kahp) to the ladies at Hello Blue Monkey,...
