This was my go to bar when I spent 3 weeks in krabi, being only a short walk from my accommodation. The food and drink was of exceptional quality and at a very reasonable price, but it is the energy of the place that made me want to return every night for my dinner. The family that owned and operated the bar were friendly and were happy to meet me, and as a solo traveller they befriended me and kept me entertained while I was dining. The live entertainment was provided by Mr Bird on piano and on occasion pich on guitar and ole singing, and was very entertaining. Yaya was a great host and offered help about anything thai I wanted to know. Visiting my good friend in Ao Nang turned into something even better when he introduced me to this wonderful restaurant and bar. The staff here don’t just serve food and drinks—they welcome you like long-lost family. The meals are consistently delicious, the music is phenomenal, and the atmosphere feels like you’ve been invited into a local’s living room (the kind of living room where you’re guaranteed a great meal and maybe a sing-along).

Visited Talay with my husband on my birthday. It's a cosy bar with live music. The gentleman singing takes requests from the guests. We were greeted by the owner/bar tender with a lot of warmth and she made our drinks exactly the way we wanted it. extremely delicious Drinks : 5/5 - We had watermelon daiquiries and the bar tender made them extra strong
