Where do I start with this nightmare:|this place is disgusting and disgraceful. As you arrive to an unoccupied reception you will then be ignored completely by the fat staff members (Sai- is the worst staff member) who are doing their nails or on their phones. They will mutter to themselves with disregard to anything you ask- even as simple as a receipt or small question like "can we have some toilet paper as we havent received in our room. Dont expect room service- your dirty bins will remain dirty and smelly drains will remain smelly and you will need to buy bottled water. It's a huge effort for any of these fatties (staff) to help considering they are in customer service and tourism business. As you enter your prison cell Enjoy your ice cold shower as hot water system is just for looks in all rooms and if your lucky you can watch TV for 5mins before the satellite cuts out for the rest of the time of your stay. Should it rain the floors will be wet with leaks everywhere.|Staff sit in the adjoining tour desk death staring any farang who asks for any business. I have no idea how they are still in business. Actually i do- should you wish to hire a motorbike through these crooks, some boys on a bike will show up after they call ahead. A terrible looking bike arrives that you wouldn't wish your worst enemy to ride- except for maybe the staff. Your passport as a deposit/ransom which should set alarm bells off with anyone. They wont allow a cash deposit or photocopy. Hence the scam...|Upon return of your POS motorbike they will extort you for damages. So lucky we took plenty of "before" photos the scam had very little evidence. We advised we would call police to settle the extortion. The fat staff ladies are in on the scam so don't bother with the bikes. Upon checkout, again no staff to wish you a warm goodbye as the reception is still vacant and the fatties are nowhere to be seen- just leave your key and be done with this nightmare . Please please please do not stay at this POS hotel or you allow them to stay in business and deter tourism. |Positives- leaving the hotel and knowing we will...

Read moreWe tried this restaurant as it was close to our hotel and had such a high overall rating on Google. Unfortunately, this was the worst Thai food we had on our trip. Firstly they got our order wrong, but we didn't send it back as we could see the quality of the food was so bad we didn't even bother. We ordered 2 Thai curries with rice. They were both really tasteless, lacked ingredients, minimal spice and the side serve of rice was very small. We have had curries at other restaurants in the area that have been delicious and those restaurants had the same overall rating as this restaurant. I do not know how this restaurant is rated so high. Do not visit this restaurant if you want a good Thai curry, see my reviews of other restaurants in the area for...
