I just had the best Khao Soi of my life at Sai Narm Phueng Kao-Soi and Soft Serve Ice Cream, and I’m sure I will be still thinking about it days later! My friend convinced me to drive out from Chiang Mai to see the gorgeous temples and quiet charm of Lamphun, promising this place was worth the trip, and wow was he right. The Khao Soi was perfectly balanced, rich but not heavy, with tender chicken, those addictive crispy noodles on top, and the fresh lime and pickled greens that made every bite sing in harmony. We washed it down with their amazing coffee; smooth, strong, and just what we needed, and then finished with the Japanese Hokkaido soft serve that was so silky and creamy it felt like a hug in dessert form. The star of the whole experience though was YoYo, the lovely guy who served us and runs the place with his family; he took the time to chat, share cool stories about Lamphun’s history, and made us feel like old friends. Read moreThis is my favourite restaurant in all of Thailand and a highly recommended place for a meal.
It was the first time I tried Kao Soi, and my mind exploded with the taste sensation. I had no idea what I’ve been missing out on.
There is a lot of love put into the food, and you can tell with every bite you take. I love the energy of the owner, and the staff, you can tell there is passion & a great story behind this store. It’s got beautiful attention to detail and artistic styling.
A visit to Lamphun should defiantly include a visit here! The best Kao Soi and tasty ice-cream to finish your meal off with. Would recommend any of their food (our favourite is the pork or chicken). As well as the Macha & Hokkaido milk ice-cream!
Look no further for a great meal and experience. You’ll thank yourself for...

The outside dining had better atmosphere though it is a small place. But it was noon in Lamphun, this farang...
